-Devotees of the midnight lord, kuthite ascetics are monks that have trained near exclusively with their patron's weapon, seeking to master its use and emulate the abilities of the outsiders associated with him. Kuthite ascetics have the following class features.

-Requirements: A kuthite ascetic must be Lawful Neutral or Lawful Evil. A kuthite ascetic must worship Zon-Kuthon. A kuthite ascetic who fails to observe their obedience or grossly violates the code of conduct required by his god loses access to all supernatural class features and become an ex-monk until they next perform the obedience, or atones for his misdeeds, respectively.

-Chain Armor (Ex): Often adorning themselves in chains, kuthite ascetic have learned how to wrap chains around themselves such it protects them as well as any armor. While a kuthite ascetic is wrapped in chains, he gains a +4 armor bonus. The chains do not count as armor for the purpose of arcane spell failure, armor check penalties, maximum Dexterity, weight, monk class features, or proficiency. If the chains are spiked chains, they are treated as having armor spikes for the purpose of effects. If the chains are enchanted, thus possessing an enhancement bonus, they provide their enhancement bonus to the kuthite ascetic's armor class in addition to the +4 armor bonus they inherently provide. This replaces the monk's AC bonus.

-Monastic Chain: At 1st level, a kuthite ascetic gains Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Spiked Chain) as a bonus feat. At 12th level, a kuthite ascetic gains Weapon Specialization (Spiked Chain), and at 16th level a kuthite ascetic gains Greater Weapon Specialization (Spiked Chain). In addition, a kuthite ascetic may treat their monk level as their fighter level for the purpose of acquiring feats that pertain to the spiked chain or are specifically applied to it. Furthermore, all monk class features that function normally with unarmed strikes function instead with attacks made using the spiked chain. This replaces the monk's unarmed strike class feature and modifies the flurry of blows, ki pool, and ki powers class features.

-Devotee of Zon-Kuthon: At 1st level, a kuthite ascetic gains Deific Obedience as a bonus feat, their deity being Zon-Kuthon. In addition, in place of acquiring their boons at 12th, 16th and 20th level, they acquire them at a lower level in place of ki powers. The first obtained at 8th level, the second at 12th, and the third at 16th. This replaces the bonus feat normally gained at 1st level, and the ki powers obtained at 8th level, 12th level, and 16th level.

-Unnerving Gaze (Su): At 1st level, a kuthite ascetic gains the ability to inspire fear in an individual with a single glance. As a standard action, a kuthite ascetic can force a creature that can see him within 30 feet to make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 monk level + Wis modifier) or become shaken for 1 round.
-At 4th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, a kuthite ascetic gains the ability to apply a new condition to the target of his unnerving gaze. This condition replaces shaken for 1 round, and a successful saving throw still negates the effect
-At 4th level, the kuthite ascetic can choose to make the target shaken for 1d3 rounds.
-At 8th level, he can make the target sickened for 1d4 rounds.
-At 12th level, he can make the target staggered for 1 round.
-At 16th level, he can make the target nauseated for 1d4 rounds.
-At 20th level, he can paralyze the target for 1d4 rounds.
-The kuthite ascetic must choose which condition will apply before the save is rolled. These effects do not stack with themselves but additional uses do increase the duration. This ability can only be used so long as the kuthite ascetic has atleast 1 point in his ki pool. Regardless of the condition applied, this is a mind-affecting fear affect. This ability replaces the monk's Stunning Fist class feature.

-Bonus Feats: At 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, a kuthite ascetic may select a bonus feat. These feats must be taken from the following lists. -A kuthite ascetic replaces the normal monk feats with the following list: believer's boon, bloodletting, combat reflexes, cruelty, endurance, shadow dodge, and weapon focus (spiked chain).
-At 6th level, the following feats are added to the list: dazzling display, flagellant, guided hand, improved disarm, improved trip, and welcome pain.
-At 10th level, the following feats are added to the list: greater disarm, greater trip, greater weapon focus (spiked chain), and improved critical.
-A kuthite ascetic need not have any of the prerequisites normally required for these feats to select them.

-Dancing Chains (Su): At 5th level, a kuthite ascetic gains the ability to control chains within 40 feet of himself as a standard action, making the chains dance or move as he wishes. In addition, he can increase these chains length by 15 feet or cause them to sprout razor-edged barbs, but not both at once. These chains attack as effectively as the kuthite ascetic himself, treated as spiked chains though dealing bludgeoning damage unless they have sprouted barbs or were spiked chains to begin with. If a chain is in another creature's possession, the creature can attempt a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 monk level + Wis modifier) to break his power over the chain. If the save is successful, he cannot attempt to control that chain again for 24 hours or until the chain leaves the creature's possession. He can control 1 chain at a time at 5th level and one additional chain every 4 levels thereafter. at 15th level, he can cause them to increase in length as well as sprout razor-edged barbs simultaneously. Making an attack with one of these chains takes an attack action. A kuthite ascetic may make any number of their attacks in a full attack, or even a flurry of blows, with a chain under their control. This ability can only be used so long as the kuthite ascetic has at least 1 point in his ki pool. This replaces the monk's Style Strike class feature.

Requirements: Zon-kuthon is a LE deity and monks need to be lawful. Holding them to a stricter practice is more for a point of flavor than anything.
Chain Armor: A kuthite ascetic is never going to be without chains. Wearing them is a good way to ensure one has them on him and so this provides a benefit to doing so and means doing so doesn't count against them. Largely drawn by the kyton evangelist ability of the same name.
Monastic Chain: They don't punch you, or kick you, but they instead beat you with a chain. Its their patron's favored weapon so why wouldn't they know how to use it. Having it replace unarmed attacks for other monk abilities further sets it place. Weapon specialization is to make sure it is on par damage wise, on average, with monk unarmed damage, which keeps it till 20th level. Allowance of taking feats that apply strictly for it, treating monk levels as fighter levels, provides further options.
Devotee of Zon-Kuthon: The feat at first is a bit more a point of flavor than anything else, but it provides some benefit. They will be dragging around spiked chains anyways so their observance is simple enough to meet (don't know it or the abilities they would get? They are on the web if you lack the book.) This does pair down their options in ki powers a bit, but I feel what they get in return suitable, even if only as a point of flavor.
Unnerving Gaze: Another kyton ability, this isn't specifically of one but actually ultimately emulates all verities of kyton I can find on the SRD. Good news, it has a longer range. Bad news, it is mind affecting fear and the durations aren't as long. Could I have kept stunning fist and just make it so it is an attack made with the spiked chain instead? Sure but.. this just seemed right.
Bonus Feats: With a different weapon and specific faith, come a different selection of bonus feats. Most of them should be self explanatory, but if not.. ask. If you have to, then perhaps that is one that should be changed.
Dancing Chains: Another kyton ability drawn from the evangelist. Sure, they don't get their style abilities, but they can augment chains, ultimately will control just as many as the kyton that share the ability. Versatility of ability sacrificed for versatility in battlefield options as a kuthite ascetic can attack from any point that happens to have chains laying around, and they should already be lugging around chains anyways. The requirement of choice between making them spiked or growing their length is largely arbitrary.

The concept itself: I like Zon-Kuthon, I like kyton, I find the idea of a monk unchained running around wrapped in chains amusing.
