The Dragon Steed feat gives a Dragonnel mount, wich despite being ugly as can be, flies and is large, with a mere +3 ECL

Thing is, altough its HP is ok for lvl 10-ish, when things go epic it might be a little lackluster (for lack of a better word)

So, thinking about that, with the Leadership feat could I turn it (her, in my case) into a more powerful mount by giving her class levels or am I wrong here?

Also, since I could get it as a cohort from the beginning, does that mean i wasted the Draconnic Steed feat?

edit: thanks for pointing the correct name out. bad night of sleep here :smallwink:

nit-pick: the feat is called Dragon Steed.

Dragonnels are cool, the trouble with them is that they are weak and they don't scale with level (at least from this source)

Now you could take one as a cohort (from 6th level) if the leadership feat is available - or you could take some other cohort and both have Dragonnels via this feat.

It should be possible to advance your dragonnel, but that's outside these rules and so is DM dependant.
