I have this very powerful artificer character who built himself three sons by making an effigy of himself and using Incarnate Construct (SS) on it.

Of the three the first, his heir, was a hero. The second was a leader. While the third was a villain.

Now he's considering building a daughter.

Other than making an effigy of the dragoness he's involved with, researching a custom spell of Daconic Incarnate Construct, and making her that way wha th other means can the playground come up with for an artificer with too much gp to artificially make a daughter?

Edit: Additionally I just realized I forgot to mention the template stacking. Is part of why the third son wound up being kind of a jerk.

See the father made an Effigy of the first son and gave it to him as a companion/servant.
Later he decided to build the second son out of another effigy of the first son and the father once again gave the second son an Effigy of himself (the second son) to use as a minion.

The third son didn't get an Effigy of himself as by this point the template stacking process had the strength of the subject up high enough that it scared it's creator who then also abandoned the process of creating the perfect heir and just declared his firstborn the heir as is customary.

The third son came to believe this was the first in a long list of ways in which his father showed he didn't want him and went all villainous.

What race is your artificer? Can he have her made the normal way?

Well, I don't really understand the mechanics, but since you mentioned a custom spell, here goes: The character's third son...Well, he seems to be a bit of a black sheep of the family. That one probably didn't turn out so great. So why not try a different approach? I mean, it seems like the guy is a bit of an experimenter, right? So why not buy some wine and convince the lady-friend to do the horizontal tango?...And then alter the child before birth into what you desire. Or even shortly after birth. Fourth kid sounds about the right time to try a new method.

First you must craft the soul, for what creature of god can look upon the heaven and wonder without the capacity to experience the divine?

Second you must forge the body so that the essence of your daughter may interact with the living world

Third you must direct the mind so that the daughter may learn the notions of justice and grace

Fourth you must set her free unto the world to experience it as she may.

Only in this way may you craft a true daughter of your ilk, to strive and create in a world that may not accept her no matter her choices.

Create another son and permanently graft a belt of gender ganging to him/her.

It will add lots of soul curshing upset if they ever end up in a null-magic area, which will likely make the GM very happy to do.

If you're refering to the commonly known item rather than something custom or from a third party book, it's a one and done cursed item not something you where around with you. I don't think it would be a valid target before becoming Incarnate, so your "daughter" would have a male identifying mind.

Huh. Was much more expecting to find a list of all the female form Constructs to Incarnate Construct when I rechecked this post.

Also, on further reflection the Telvanni mage in Morrowind who made himself a daughter is what this all reminds me of.

Your character's sons were literally made in his image, doing any less for the daughter would be half-assing it.:smalltongue:

So do you plan to take it all the way and make 6 and also marry them ?

Unless we can find a process that's equally convoluted which engineers higher quality/ability offspring. Then we're overdoing it.

Ugh. No. The comparison merely amused, not inspired.

Apparently this artificer could do all of these but 'get a wife' was too tall an order for him. As in, making a daughter the way most living things do.

Eh, I think that can be excused for the sake of story. "Man builds himself a wife/daughter/whatever" is an oddly common theme in fiction. There (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilmarinen#Ilmarinen.27s_Bride_of_Gold) are (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRsNZarFGxA) a lot (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Orianna/Background) of examples (http://escapetheclouds.bandcamp.com/track/in-your-sleep).

PAO yourself into a woman, make an effigy of yourself, get the PAO removed, incarnate construct. Sure, it makes her twice-artificial in a way, but it eliminates a whole lot of drama.

How to make a daughter (or anything really)

POA twice + Mind Rape. a rock is now a human girl permantly mind raped into many happy memories of being your daughter.

Wall of Stone + profession(sculpting) + Stone to Flesh + haunt shift. Arguably makes something alive with a soul(s)

Ice assassin of a someone elses Daughter that you thought would be better as yours.

Wish for a Daughter.

Magic + more Magic + Mighty Magic = pretty much whatever you want.
