Couple questions.
If you allowed the battle master to use their maneuvers, without the access to additional damage, does it unbalance the game?
I feel like it would effect the game about as much as a wildshape druid melee attack effects (trip) or a warlock using invocations (push).
Also, if you could spend your Hit Die to further use your maneuvers. Regain hit die during a long rest still. Would you use your hit die to use your battle master abilities more than your typical number of uses? You would need to expend your normal maneuver dice before our can use your hit die. Your hit die do not give you a bonus to damage (much like above).
Thoughts?

Hit Die wouldn't be exactly 1:1 but perhaps 2 hit die for 1 superiority die. *shrug*
A champion with martial adept feat would be awesome I guess...
