I like the idea of Words of Power, but the system has seen no official support and is quite limited by the core books. Kobold Press, however, expanded om the system with the excellent Deep Magic. I'm not very good with systems, especially not with sitting down and reading them to guage their mechanical viability, so I thought I'd turn to the community on this one.
With access to the expanded Words of Power from Deep Magic, is the system viable as an alternative to traditional spellcasting?
