question about the classic sorcadin.

So, classic sorcadin is pal2/sorc4/spellsword1/abj champ 5/sacred exorcist 8.

Thing is, sacred exorcist requires 10 ranks of knowledge the planes, which is a CC skill the whole way. Meaning your max rank in it when you would take your 1st level of SE as 8 ranks. How are you able to have 10 ranks?

There are a couple of ways of getting skills on your list, and of those Knowledges are some of the easiest. Planar Sorcerer, Educated, Apprentice Philosopher, Knowledge Devotion, Keeper of Forbidden Lore, etc.

There is a Planar Sorcerer variant (in Planar Handbook, p. 35) that gives Knowledge (the Planes) as a class skill. There are also two Paladin ACFs that grant Knowledge (the Planes) as a class skill - Planar Paladin (Planar Handbook, p. 33) and Holy Judge (Champion of Valor, p. 44). There are also feats that you could take that would make Knowledge (the Planes) a class skill, if you were so inclined.

Presumably, you'd use one of the various ways to get it as a class skill. The Educated feat comes to mind as one of the simplest.

Yeah just seen that, the one level of spellsword its a class skill so u can dump up to 4 skill points into it.

The problem with those is that those substitution levels don't come online in time for them to appear in a sorcadin build, pal2 sor4 when the subs start at pal4 sor5 just doesn't allow for it in the parent post's build.
