What happens when you combine boredom, stress, and episode 200 of the sailor moon anime? You make this frightening thing.

Of course, this is not intended to be seriously used but... damned be my stupid homebrew urges. But then I thought, now that I've got it out of my system, why not hear what other people think? So, here it is. For your suffering enjoyment.

Pink sugar heart attack.
Evocation [Force]
Level: Sor/Wiz 1, Moon 1
Components: V, S, F,
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: Ray
Duration: 1 round
Saving Throw: No or Reflex Negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell causes several tiny hearts to shoot out and hit the target if you succeed on a ranged touch attack. The hearts distract the target for the duration of the spell. In order to perform a standard action, the target has to succeed on a DC 10 concentration check, to perform a full round action, he must succeed on a DC 15 concentration check, and to cast a spell, he must succeed on a DC 20+Spell level Concentration check. In addition, the target takes a -2 penalty to AC and attack. If the target is carrying a shield, he can attempt a reflex save to block the attack. He loses his shield bonus to AC for the round, but does not take a penalty to AC or attack and does not have to make a Concentration check to act.

Focus: A wand, inlaid with a heartshaped gem worth at least 100 gp.

Moon Tiara Action
Transmutation [Force]
Level: Sor/Wiz 2, Moon 2

Casting Time: 1 standard action.
Range: Special
Target: Circular object touched
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: No and Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: No

Moon Tiara Action transforms a single circular item into a powerful magical weapon. The spell is strongest when cast on a tiara of a certain value, but any flat, circular object similar to a frisbee can be used.

Tiara:

When the spell is cast on a tiara worth at least 100 gp, the tiara changes into a circle of magical force under the caster's control. The caster can throw the tiara as a part of casting the spell, or she can choose to throw it at a later time. The tiara ignores shield, armour and natural armour bonuses to AC and deals 1d8 points of force damage per caster level (up to a maximum of 10d8+10 at 10th level) upon impact with a target. The caster is considered proficient with the tiara and the tiara has a range increment of 50 feet.

If the tiara is worth less than 100 gp, the tiara does not ignore natural armour bonus and deals 1d6 points of force damage (up to a maximum of 5d6+5 at fifth level) instead.

Circular object:

If the focus is not a tiara, the transmutation is only partial. The object only deals 1d4 points of nonlethal damage per level, (up to a maximum of 5d4 at fifth level) and does not ignore shield, armour and natural armour bonuses to AC.

Focus: A circular object, or a tiara.

This spell frees the target from enchantments and transmutations, cures supernatural diseases (like lycanthropy) and heals 1d8+1 points of damage (up to a maximum of 1d8+10 at 10th level). The spell can reverse even an instantaneous effect. If under the effect of an enchantment, the creature receives a will save to resist the effect. If under a polymorph effect, the creature can only be affected willingly. If under both an enchantment effect and a transmutation effect, the target receives a will save to resist both effects. This spell has no effect on outsiders and undead.

Focus: A wand with a tip shaped like a cresent moon.

Moon Princess Halation

This spell causes a glowing cresent moon to spring out from the tip of the spells focus. Upon impact, the spell deals 1d6 points of force damage per caster level, (to a maximum of 15d6 at 15th level).

Focus: A wand.

Spiral Moon Heart Attack

Level: Sor/wiz 5, Moon 5
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 30 ft/ 60 ft
Target: 30 ft burst, centered on caster/ 60 ft cone
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex Negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell causes several magical hearts to spring into exsistance, dealing damage to those caught in the blast. The hearts deal 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage (up to a maximum of 15d6 at 15th level).

Focus: A rod with a heart on the tip.

Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss
Transmutation/Conjuration (healing) [Good, Light, Mind Affecting]
Level: Moon 6
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Target: One living creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will Negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes

The holy power of this spell renews the target. If the target is under a polymorph effect this spell ends the polymorph effect (the target receives a will save to resist). If the target is under an Enchantment (charm) or (compulsion) effect, the target is freed from the influence (the caster must succed on a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) against a DC of 11 + caster level of the effect). The spell also restores ability damage like a Greater Restoration. Each casting of the spell can only remove one of the previously mentioned conditions, however the caster can choose herself which condition to remove, assuming she knows which conditions the target is affected by.

Focus: A rod with a gemstone worth at least 1000 gp inlaid on the tip of the rod.


Moon Gorgeous Meditation

Level: Moon 7
Components: V, S, F, Sacrifice
Casting Time: 3 rounds
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will Partial
Spell Resistance: No

This spell calls into existance powerful holy energy to rend a creature asunder. This spell is next to impossible to survive, however it is difficult to use properly. The spell is cast in three steps. If the caster takes damage or must for some other reason make a concentration check before the spell is complete, the spell is ruined.

1st round: The caster must utter a short prayer. This prayer will charge up holy energy into the spells focus.

2nd round: The caster must raise the focus into the air and ring it loudly. This causes the spells second focus to be charged.

3rd round: The caster must point the second focus at the target. Multicoloured energy will then pour out of the focus to strike the target. Unless the target succeeds on a will save, the target is shattered like a broken mirror. If the target succeeds on the will save, he still takes 15d6 points of damage. A target killed by this spell can't be ressurected by any spell that requires a body or a body part. Even incorporeal creatures, or creatures who otherwise survive without a body, can be killed by this spell.

Focus: A golden bell and a gem inlaid rod. Both items must be worth at least 500 gp each.

Sacrifice: 1d4 points of Strength damage.

Rainbow Moon Heart Ache

Range: 30 ft/ 60 ft
Target: 30 ft burst, centered on caster/ 60 ft cone
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex Half

This spell functions like Spiral Moon Heart Attack except that the maximum damage is 20d8 (at 20th level) and ignores damage reduction.

Focus: A rod with a heart on the tip worth at least 500 gp.

Sacrifice: 1d6 points of Charisma damage.

Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss
Abjuration/Transmutation [Good, Light]
Level: Moon 9
Components: V, S, F, Sacrifice
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

This spell cures all damage, restores any ability damage, drain or level drain, removes any curse, breaks any Enchantment (charm) and Enchantment (compulsion) and removes any transmutation (polymorph) effect on the target.

Focus: Focus: A rod with a gemstone worth at least 10000 gp inlaid on the tip of the rod and a chalice inlaid with a multicoloured gemstone.


Sacrifice: 1d8 constitution damage.

One of my best friends is the greatest Sailor Moon fan. Her character (a Half-elf Monk) is named Isil Ciraquenya (Sindar for "Moon Sailor")

I will certainly forward her this thread...

But, shouldn't "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" should be a 0 level spell?

And how about the spells for the other girls?

Shine Snow Illusion creates an image of freezing water, originating at your hand and extending outward in a cone. It drains heat, dealing 1d6 points of cold damage per caster level (maximum 15d6).

Arcane Material Component: A very small crystal or glass cone.

Hehe. That was certainly interesting. I guess some attacks like the fire and electrical ones are covered by normal D&D spells.

But in the anime the other Sailor Senshi tend to suck and Sailor Moon has to deliver the final blow to every monster. Unlike in the Manga when Sailor Mars just obliterates half the enemies without provocation.

Actually, if you want to stick to the anime canon as much as possible, you could state that some of the more powerful Moon spells only work if the enemy is somehow weakened, dazed, distracted, etc.

"Do it now, Sailor Moon!"

Heh. Well, I suppose I could make the other Senshi too. It's just a bit difficult to get a full lvl 1-9 set for em. I could take the inners, but the outers... that'd be impossible. Saturn has what... three spells? All three of them pushing into epic levels.

That's a bit too late though. I'm already considering Mercury's spell list, and if I remember correctly, I only need a level 8 or 9 spell to finish it. (Don't know where to place Mercury Aqua Rhapsody)

And I felt the need to see if there was some way to make a 9 level Saturn spell list. THIS, is the abdomination I made.

Summon Silence Glaive.

This spell heals damage to the target creature equal to 10% of her maximum health each round. Saturn can concentrate on the spell and not use the energy to heal, though that energy is wasted.

Dark Blast.

Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 60 ft
Target: Cone
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex halves

This spell causes an explosion centered on Saturn that spreads out dark energy in a cone before her. This energy deals 1d6 points of damage per caster level to all creatures caught in the blast. A reflex save halves the damage dealt.

Silent Wall.
Abjuration [Force]
Level: Saturn 4
Components: V, S, F,
Casting Time: 1 free action
Range: Personal

This spell causes a magical barrier to show up around Saturn. Any attack aimed at her is automatically diverted, she succeeds on any save from spells cast against her, and area effects and emmanations don't function in a cone behind her.

Silent Glaive Surprise.

Components: V, S, F, Sacrifice
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)

This spell causes the target creature to die in an intense explosion. The explosion does no damage to the surroundings, though the flash from the explosion is noticeable from several 100 feet away.

Sacrifice: The death and rebirth of Saturn.

Death Reborn Revolution.
Evocation/Necromancy
Level: Saturn 6
Components: V, S, F,
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: 30-ft.-radius spread
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex Negates
Spell Resistance: No

This spell causes several ribbons of energy to spring out and assault the given area with incredible power. Any creature struck by this spell must make a reflex save. Those who fail their save is struck by a bolt of energy and dies instantly. Those who succeed avoid being struck by this spell. This is a death effect.

Rebirth.
Universal
Level: Saturn 7
Components: V, F,
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Endless
Target: 1 dead individual per caster level.
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

Those affected by this spell are restored to life and full vitality, just as if a true ressurection spell has been cast on them. Alternatively, those raised can be raised as a baby of a race chosen by Saturn.

Destruction.
Universal
Level: Saturn 8

Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Endless
Target: The world
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

This spell works like revolution, except that those destroyed by this spell aren't automatically given new life afterwards.

Creatures with Divine Rank can attempt a Rank check, just like with revolution.

Sacrifice: The death and subsequent rebirth of Saturn.

Revolution.
Universal
Level: Saturn 9
Components: S, F, Sacrifice
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Endless
Target: The world
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

This spell destroys, then recreates the world. "The world" being any city, country, or even the entire planet. A new world is then created after the destruction. Saturn can choose to omit anyone and anything from both the destruction and rebirth, be it a race, a type of being, or individuals. Creatures destroyed that aren't returned to life by this spell can still be returned to life, as long as the soul is free and willing to return.

Creatures with a divine rank can roll a Rank check to see if they survive the power of this ability. The DC of the Divine Rank check is equal to 10+Saturn's Caster Level.

Sacrifice: The death and subsequent rebirth of Saturn.
