Greetings! A player in my game asked me the following:
Question about creating magic items:
The SRD gives a cost formula for making an item that gives back a spell level, based on the spell level.
How would you price an item that can give back *any* spell level (up to a max)?
The character in question:
Merfolk Sorceress 7//Fatespinner 2//Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil 4
This is a character who has a lot of spells/day, and given her level, a sizable variety of them, too (not as varied as a wizard, but still quite impressive). So, I would like to know how much would an item like this cost and also if it would be balanced to have such an item.
