Improved Familiars to refluff as a cat.

Context: Wizard player has a slightly magical cat familiar that's been a lot of fun as an RP tool and for flavor purposes.

The actual Cat familiar is kind of lame though, +3 stealth, no hands, etc.

Moreover the wizard is at the stage of the game where he's eyeballing improved familiars.

Now I have no problem refluffing if he wants to call a compsognathus a fox or something, but it seems like it's going to be a lot harder to do that with Improved Familiars because most of the obvious choices (Celestial/Fiendish/Axiomatic/Anarchic X, carbuncle, wolpertinger, etc.) are kind of crappy and most of the ones that'd be a good fit for them have some abilities that are hard to stretch.

Anyone got any suggestions for me?

I would think that most improved familiars could be managed by adding one or two prehensile tails and some wings to the cat.

The silvanshee and the cat sith (duh) are specifically called out as being cat sith.
