Some questions:

1) What level are you starting at?

2) What level do you expect to get to?

3) Are you allowed any source, or does it just have to be official?

4) Do you want a pure damage build, or one with some utility?

1. We are now LVL 2
2. There is no end in sight yet for campaign (lvl 25 at least)
3. Any 3.5 source
4. Damage.

You might check a couple of the builds sleepyphoenixx posted over here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?415972-Creating-Dragon-themed-Leadership-Wizard-Sorcerer-ideas-needed!)

Dalamar's Lightning Lance would seem like a good spell for you

Simpler explaination:

If you can, use Incantatrix and a ton of metamagic (plus Practical Metamagic).

Find your favourite blast spell (orb of electricity?) and use Arcane Thesis on it.

Arcane Fusion / Arcane Spellsurge / Celerity give you extra actions per turn for even more damage.

Try to bypass immunities (Energy Substitution, or just use other spells).

Do the Ancestral Relic Runestaff (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?267805-Sorcerer-Handbook#4) trick. Preferably make it an Elvencraft Composite Longbow (RotW), which is both a quarterstaff and a longbow so it needs masterwork three times but you can put three wand chambers from Dungeonscape in it. If you're this +0 LA Aasimar (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a) (for which you never have to spend a level on the rest of the racial traits (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20030824a)) then you'll still have the Outsider creature type and you'll have proficiency in all martial weapons, including longbows.

If you want to deal electric damage, get the Storm Bolt reserve feat in CM. You may also consider Energy Substitution: Electric and Born of the Three Thunders in CA, though if you do get that be sure to get immunity to the dazed condition (www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?187851-3-5-Lists-of-Necessary-Magic-Items) or get the feat Quick Recovery in LoM. Energy Substitution is actually a fantastic choice for this since you can pick spells that deal all sorts of different types of damage (Scorching Ray, Cone of Cold, etc.) and just turn them into electric damage, but still be able to deal other damage types if electric isn't the best choice at the time.

Regarding that build, you never spend a feat on Iron Will if you could say you visited the Otyugh Hole detailed in CS to get that without spending a feat on it.

I always worry that I won't be able to convince my DM to let me see his Otyugh Hole.

Incantatrix is a trap that requires giving up a school of magic. Use an enhanced magic demiplane like the cool kids.

If you want to be a blaster sorcerer, giving up a school is not really an issue. I mean, just look at the Mailman build- there isn't a single enchantment spell listed, and only one illusion. You could probably even get away without transmutation and that's seriously saying something.

Just because there's easier ways by cheesing up your spell usage doesn't make Incantatrix a trap option. It's just the simpler one that doesn't require a lot of work to pull off. If one considers the sacrifice worth it, and doesn't want to put in the work of convincing their DM to allow the custom plane (I know it's completely rules-legal, but some DMs pitch fits about this kind of thing), then Incantatrix is perfectly serviceable.
