So, I've been asked by a few people how to do the damage sims I've become a bit infamous for. I'm going to go ahead and do them one better. I have put together an Excel spreadsheet that will calculate the average expected damage of a single attack, to include all variables other than pure miss chance (which will be added shortly, but is simple to hand-jam). This specifically includes accuracy, crit rate and multiplier, DR, and energy resistance.
This isn't the fanciest thing out there and I'm sure someone can code it better than I can, but it'll let people play with the mechanics a bit and lets you see how the calculations in progress look. Just enter the appropriate numbers in the top section
The sheet can be found HERE (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwHPO3muEYMebTEwaUF1Wm1qQmM/view?usp=sharing), just download it and open it up with Excel or any decent reader. The functions aren't complex, and will work on just about any of them.
