Raven's Petshop
Disclaimer: Raven's petshop is a small little shop where she sells all sorts of pets, normal and exotic. Raven guarantees that all the animals here are treated as fairly as she can manage.



This little shop is a cute but loud place to stop and relax, if you're the type. Cages in the front hold puppies, kittens, small birds, ferrets, chinchillas, pet rats, turtles, various kinds of lizards and snakes, and a couple tarantulas.

Several couches crowd together in one corner of the shop, oftentimes crowded by several animals running loose. The couches generally smell a bit.

Shelves line one wall of the shop. They hold many different pet supplies and foods.

The wall opposite the main entrance features the counter and a door. a sign on the door reads: Exotic and Magical Beasts. The one window on the door is frosted, and the door itself is locked.

Next to the main entrance is a corkboard. Currently on it are papers that read:

If anybody has any pets or animals that they can't take care of anymore, talk to raven, and she'll find a new home for them.

Animal day Care will soon be added. any interest in this service should be expressed to one of the employees of this shop.

Raven walks out of the back. She dusts off her pant leg. Hey! Calith! good job getting in so fast!

*Tereal walks in* Can I have a cat?

A cat you say? I have several kittens, and a couple older cats. which one would you like to look at?
she shows him a couple cages with felines sleeping in them. there are kittens of all different colors and shapes, but only a few adult cats. there is an orange, a white, two blacks, and a tri-colored. All are short haired.

[Nightwing]

That one. *He points to a kitten with A tortes shell pattern.*

Raven reaches into the cage and withdraws the kitten. This little girl? here you go.
The kitten sniffs Tereal's hand. She then nuzzles it cutely.
She likes you!

[Nightwing]

Thanks. Tereal takes the kitten.

Would you like to take home any kitten supplies? Like kitty food? or a pet toy? She gestures at the shelf with the various things on it.

yes, a bag of cat food please.

[Goblin Music]

a bag floats over to him and stops by his feet

Thank You! Raven calls, Unperturbed by the lack of stated payment. :smallwink: she then dissapears into the back room and brings out a small pair of Shocker Lizards. She sets them in the little pen in front of the couch and lounges in wait for the next customer, dangling her fingers in the pen and smiling at the feel of the shocks.

Raven perks up from her spot on the couch when she notices that Calith doesn't get up to help the customer. She quickly gathers up the two shocker lizards.
Alright. Follow me.
she opens the door and leads Fiere through.behind it is a huge room too big for the building. Every conceivable kind of creature can be found here.

Hmm. Shapeshifters. I usually don't deal in those, but let me see here. She combs through the inventory. (And I go get my monster manual)

she comes up with nothing in her inventory. I'm sorry, but shapechangers just aren't really within my forte. Most have to have a high intellect to control those abilities, and for legal reasons, I don't buy or sell anything with an intelligence of five or above. I could probaly contact a specialty breeder if you know the name of what you want, though.
she directs his attention to the large cage of corrolaxes. These little birds are almost as good, though. they have a color spray ability that makes them a very flashy creature to have on your shoulder. They are also perfectly suited for use as pets.

Raven pulls a bright orange bird out of the cage.
Here you are - he's a flighty little fellow, but he'll sit on a shoulder all day if you tell him to. let's see.. These guys need the crumble bird feed supplememnted with fruit. Here's a month's worth of food. if you need a cage, they're up against that wall there.

(OK, I have it and it includes the prices for eggs, young, and rearing. Also, it's an abberation with a lot of magnetic abilities. It also eats metal, but I cheacked and it's inteliegence is 2. Listed prices are: egg=4,000gp, young=6,000gp, rearing=2,500gp.)
