I'm planning on making a world using the 5e D&D system. I've never (officially, as in Sat down and made one, instead of just playing through random encounters) made one before.

My basic Ideas:

I want to have about 7 different continents with at least 3 country each, as far as geography goes,

I want to have one main religion over the people with gods not inherently gods, just regular people who rose to ultimate power and immortality,

I don't want to limit myself to European fantasy, so I'll look at Chinese and Japanese folklore

I had an idea for a merged Norse/Shogunate Orc culture based on the Klingons. For the language you could look for an Icelandic conlang on the conlang wikia.

But my ideas was for fantasy Klingons; one should not mix sci fi with fantasy. With Klingons on the same rough tech level you could do a "medieval" Klingon campaign.
