I noticed on the Treasure Table for the 3.5 SRD, it has a line for generating treasure for levels 21-30 that says, "For treasures above 20th level, use the 20th-level row and then add a number of random major items." It then lists some tables that say:
21st - Magic Item +1
22nd - Magic Item +2
23rd - Magic Item +4
all the way to
30th - Magic Item +42
I'm not sure I understand how that works. Do you take the 20th level chart and add 42 major magic items to the result for a level 30 treasure?
So:
Roll Result 01-25 = 42 major items
Roll Result 26-65 = 1d4 medium items and 42 major items
Roll Result 66-100 = 1d3+42 major items
21st - Magic Item +1
22nd - Magic Item +2
23rd - Magic Item +4
all the way to
30th - Magic Item +42
