I know I've seen it posted before, but my situation is different. I can't wrap my head around how much of an increase I would get. I currently have Kobold Monk4/Barb1/FotF3/IofDM8/BearWar1/Warshaper2 who is wearing Monk's Belt and Monk's Tattoo, Fanged Ring. How much is my unarmed damage with all this. For what I'm getting I'm coming up with 8d8.

What's IofDM? I assume by "Monk's Tattoo, Fanged Ring" you mean that you have a monk's tattoo and are wearing a fanged ring.

So from your size, Monk levels, monk's belt, monk's tattoo, and Fist of the Forest levels, you have 2d8 unarmed damage (effective monk level 13, size small, up two steps on the table from FotF). Warshaper increases that to 3d8. In bear form you have 6d8. Fanged Ring boosts that to 8d8.

So you're two steps past 8d8. Not sure where that puts you. Probably 16d8.

Lovely, thanks for the help.

I'm assuming that's two steps up, rather than two damage die more. If you go by the Improved Natural Attack table, that's 16d8, if its tagged onto the end.

Counting as a Monk lvl 4 + 8 from Items, + 2 Dice Steps from Initiate and +1 Dice step from FotF, counting as two size modifiers above what you actually is (in this case, Large, Huge when Bear)

If Monk's Belt and Tattoo Stacks (open quesiton) its either 8d6 (Large) or 10d6 (Huge)

If they doesn't stack (which i'd lean towards personally for similarity between the items), then its either 6d8 (Large) or 8d8 (Huge)

I'm unsure but I'm rereading Initiate and it says increases by one die step. So would that mean I'm 8d12 and not 16d8?

It increases it one die step on the table and it's based on unarmed damage. After 2d10 you go into 4d8 etc etc. Or at least that's how I understand it.

Monk 4/Barb 1/FotF 3 has 1d10 damage without items. Add the +4 Tattoo +5 Belt you have 2d6. IotDM makes it 1d10, Warshaper makes it 1d10, Bear Warrior makes it 1d10, Fanged Ring makes it 1d10. So you end up with 1d10 unarmed damage because if you go above 2d6 you cease qualifying for the later part of the unarmed damage of Fist of the Forest making the first part take hold which is an absolute 1d10 after three levels. You could be Colossal or Fine, 3 levels of Fist of the Forest puts your unarmed damage at 1d10 unless it was already there, in which case 2d6.

Take out the FotF levels. In bear form you are a medium monk 13 so 2d6. Increase die step twice goes to 2d10. Increase size twice and you are at 6d8 in bear form 4d8 as a kobold(8d8/6d8 with three more monk levels). Your DM may alternately rule that an increase in die step is synonymous with an increase in size rather than die type or monk damage levels, in which case it would be 8d6 in bear 6d6 normal(12d6/8d6 with three more monk levels).

Once you add in Superior Unarmed Strike it gets a little off. Your base damage in bear is 2d8, increased two steps to 2d12 which isn't on any table making the size increase ruling have to kick in. Putting your grand total at 8d8 in bear, 6d8 as a kobold(12d8/8d8 with the three monk levels you pick up from dropping FotF).
