Mist Spire VI

[AmberVael]

Tucked away in the corner of the astral plane there is demiplane. This demiplane is Aesa's planar realm.
Though small, it contains a variety of terrain. There is a small wood, a lake covered with mist, foothills and the small mountain on which her tower has been built. A path leads up the mountain to Aesa's tower.
The realm is obviously real, but something about it seems insubstantial and not quite there. The feeling that you will simply wake up from a dream, or that you will pass through the ground, is easily ignored or forgotten, but never overcome. Its quite a pervasive and insistant sensation.
Storms and lightning continually flicker in the background, and a thin mist coils about the surface of the entire plane, adding to its surreal quality. The plane maintains a constant, cool breeze and slightly chilly temperature.
Anyone venturing here who has earned Aesa's ire or comes in an unwelcome fashion may find that the lightning is not just in the background, and that the mist is more than just a whispy thing around their feet.
Furthermore, the shadowy, illusory nature of the plane means that Aesa can simply make it not exist... for selected people. It also allows her easy change over what the plane is like.
The tower itself is fairly small, but not crampt.

Aesa has now opened up her plane for mercenary buisness. Aesa takes any jobs that she feels inclined to take, ranging from tracking to assassination.

There is a portal that connects the first floor of Aesa's tower to the streets, and there is a sign next to it that reads:
MIST SPIRE-
Home of Aesa, Diviner, Assassin and Mercenary for hire.
Inquire inside.

BASEMENT: This area is connected to a small network of catacombs that lead to numerous places of interest. A few of these are Aesa's summoning chamber, her vault where Zchiz is now kept, and a training room.

FLOOR 1: The first floor contains a desk, a large number of chairs around a table, a fireplace, and is in general a 'welcome' area.

FLOOR 2: The second floor is a small but comprehensive library.

FLOOR 3: This floor is reserved fro the private quarters. As of the moment, there are five bedrooms, a kitchen, and a small living area.

FLOOR 4: The literal top of the tower. You are outside on this floor, and can see the entire plane. Apparently it is a good vantage point for throwing lightning bolts at things.

There is also a connected but somehow separate portion of the plane that is an eternally lit field of white, blue, and yellow flowers. This part of the plane is normally inaccesable.

Aesa smiles and ruffles Kalar's hair.

"Please," he says, tucking away the books and the letter for now.

Kyrian smiles at Signy again. It was nice meeting you Signy. Your daddy's one lucky guy.

Signy smiles and hugs against Aesa.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles

Oi... That stuff was uncomfertable.

Sikka grins, polymorphing her form to match Vedran's stiched flesh. She looks up, hopefully

Kyrian stands, still smiling and looks at Aesa. I'm sure you'll make sure he takes good care of her.

[AmberVael]

Oh he will.
Aesa smiles at Kyrian and then at Kalar.

[Kyrian]

Bye Signy, nice meeting you, bye um...sorry, didn't get your name.

[AmberVael]

Kalar. His name is Kalar.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran looks somewhat taken aback by the likeness. He chuckles in fact. "Is that what I look like? Well, obviously a little different as a man, but for the most part?"

[Lykan]

Kalar.

Kalar's tail twitches a bit, and he grins, showing pointed fangs gained from his manticore heritage

She looks at the ground

Sorry... I didn't mean to make you think you look strange.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran reaches forward to ruffle her hair, "I like looking strange." He winks and grins even wider.

[Kyrian]

Well, Signy, Kalar, it was nice meeting you both.

[Lykan]

Sikka smiles

Strange is good... It's better then good. It's anti-boring!

Kalar bows again

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Damn right, Miss Sikka," he says, then wonders if he should say "damn" in front of kids. His confusion may be somewhat visible matched with a grin anyway.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles and hugs Kalar and Signy.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian bows at Kalar, then smiles at Aesa. Thank you. He leaves through the portal.

[Lykan]

Kalar hugs her back, grinning

Thanks... By the way, I never want to wear a petticoat ever again.

She grins, dispelling the polymorph and turning back to normal

Well... That's one of the reasons I like those changestones... Random every time.

Have you ever tried one of those?

"Never heard of one, much less had one," he says, shrugging.

[Lykan]

She grins, pulling out a pouch from her bag and opening it onto the ground. Several stones of various colors fall out onto the ground.

It's cool... They're stones that-... Well.. Change you.

Watch.

She holds a white stone, concenntrates, and brakes the stone. A halo of light appears over her head, and the feathers of her wings turn a brilliant white. She grins.

Aesa chuckles at Kalar and Signy giggles.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran smiles at her, unable to even think of a comment that would suit her without sounding like a pick up line. Darned kids and their overuse of comparing girls to angels.

He instead looks down at stones that fell on the ground. He picks a few up with his hands while the some stitches that hold his shoulders together shoot out to picks up the others.

[Lykan]

Kalar crosses his arms

What?

Among the stones are a jet black, smokey gray, bright red, dark green, and one that is blue speckled with yellow. Sikka grins

You just need to concentrate, and brake one.

[AmberVael]

Aesa just grins and Signy smiles and hugs Kalar.

[Lykan]

Kalar sighsand smiles, hugging her back

C'mon, tell me?

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran puts most of them down on the table, yet still keeps ahold of the smokey one, "Mind if I try one then, Miss Sikka?" He smiles as if no doubt anticipating she will agree.

[AmberVael]

Aesa shrugs and Signy just giggles a little more.

[Lykan]

She grins

I took them out, didn't I? Go right ahead!

Kalar sighs

You two think it's funny I was a girl?

[AmberVael]

...maybe.
Or maybe we're just picturing you in a petticoat now.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran flashes her an almost childishly eager grin, sits in the chair with his legs crossed, and concentrates as she had suggested. He merely squeezes the stone with his hand, it should crush under the strange amount of pressure he is able to put on it.

[Lykan]

Kalar groans

Oh... Jeeze. Please don't.

The stone bursts, and flows into Vedran's form. Suddenly, both of his arms and legs turn to iron, mechanical versions of themselves, slightly too large to be proportionate to the rest of his body. She grins

Oooh! Golem!

[AmberVael]

I won't Kalar, I'll just think about it.

[Lykan]

He sighs, grinning

Phew... Those things are uncomfertable enough as a girl...

[AmberVael]

Signy giggles at him again.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran smiles at the arms and legs, then decides to start flexing his arms just to see how mechanical arms are able to do that, or not. Depending on how it works.

[Lykan]

Kalar looks down at her and grins

You think I'd look funny in a petticoat?

The arms flex as easily as if they were his own. They seem even stronger then his real form, as well. Sikka looks on curiously

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Hm. Well, that's interesting," he says, smirking. He decides to test them by picking up the table and trying to balance it on one finger. "How long do these last, exactly?"

[AmberVael]

Signy nods enthusiastically.

[Lykan]

Kalar grins, touslling her hair

Hey mom? Can I ask you something?

Sikka grins as he is quite successful

About a few minutes. Though Lykan is working to create a device that makes them permenant...

[AmberVael]

Of course, Kalar.
Aesa smiles at him.

Signy beams and shakes her head.

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Oh... they wouldn't be as much fun if they were permanent though," he says, grinning, "I wouldn't want to be stuck like this! I look so much prettier normally." Vedran lifts the table up and down, having fun but trying to be careful not to drop it.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles and hugs Signy

Well, Rafael told me a bit about the smell last night... He said it was fun, and that I couldn't do it.

Why can't I do it?

Sikka grins, turning back to normal

Yeah, but it'd be nice if they lasted a bit longer, too...

[AmberVael]

Aesa thinks about it.
And then a little more.
A moment for me to think, Kalar?

Signy waits to hear the question as she hugs Kalar back.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Figuring that he isn't too far behind her in how much time he'll have left, he starts to lower the table down.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles at Signy

Okay.

Hey, wanna play later?

The metallic appendages dissipear some time afterwards. Sikka grins

Choose another, this'll be fun!

Signy nods happily.

[Lykan]

Kalar grins and hugs her again. He looks up at Aesa, questioningly

Vedran half-bows obliginly. He shrugs and reaches for the dark green one, then proceeds to crush it in a simliar manner.

[AmberVael]

Aesa lets out a long breath.
Honestly there is nothing stopping you. You are physically old enough.
However, that doesn't mean you should just go out and do it. There is a sort social commitment to it- its more than an act, its a symbol of giving yourself to someone.

[Lykan]

His entire body turns to wood, his hair turning to a tangle of vines, and his eyes turning to orbs of glowing green. Sikka grins, taking the red stone and crushing it. Suddenly, her wings turn batlike, and her "physical attributes" engorging to quite large sizes. she looks statled

... Oh my...

She looks up at Vedran, and her eyes suddenly alight with lust

Oh my...

She licks her lips, and smiles

Kalar sighs, and nods

... He still didn't really tell me what was going on, either... Can you brief me with that?

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran was at first more concerned with himself, looking down and laughing a little. When he looks up at Sikka his face turns a little more green or brown. However he manages to look embarassed in this current state. "Well, um... you certainly filled out, Miss Sikka." He then backs up a little at the look in her eye.

[AmberVael]

Aesa frowns and considers how to explain it without bypassing PG-13 boundaries.
Not that she really cares, but the forum people sure do.
Fourth row, second bookcase, third shelf, eigth book from the right.
No idea why I have that book, but I do.

[Lykan]

She smiles seductivly diving at Vedran and neaning against him, tracing a finger down his arm. She leans in quite close to his face, still with the look in her eyes

Hmm... Maybe now I'd like to be... "Filled up?"

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Nyehhhh..." he says, taking that same tone he had back in the graveyard about getting married, "Miss Sikka, um..." he keeps backing up and tries to distract her with what he is saying, "Although that would be interesting, but I'm currently a tree and as such, I don't think that would work quite as well as planned." If she were interested in his demeanor at this point, she'd see him about as awkward as he ever gets.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles and nods.
I have some things to do, so I'll leave you guys alone. You two be good, okay?
She vanishes.
Signy smiles up at Kalar.

[Lykan]

Sikka chuckles, leaning in closer and attempting to kiss him while wrapping her arms around him

Oh, I'll see about that, tree man...

Kalar smiles down at Signy

Anything in particular you'd like to do, Signy?

[AmberVael]

Signy shakes her head.

[Lykan]

He grins

You wanna see some cool creatures in person, then?

[AmberVael]

Signy looks hesitant and ruffles her wings.

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Miss Sikka, as you are now, it would be like kissing my sister, you see? I just can't do that..." he tries to dodge the kiss, smiling apologetically. It was true. His sister had taken on the succubus qualities a few years ago, much to Dad's wrath.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles, hugging her again

It's okay, we don't need to if you don't want... It's sort of like a zoo, really.

[AmberVael]

Signy ruffles her wings again.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles

Then wanna go exploring?

Sikka smiles seductivly again

Then maybe you should turn to the concept of incest, hmm?

She tries to hold Vedran still and kiss him again, while he turns back to normal

Signy nods happily.

Vedran relaxes a little as he changes back, that smile returning, realizing she'll follow soon after. Rather than have her in a rather awkward position with him when she does, the stitches from his shoulder shoot forth and attempt to push her back into her own chair.

[Lykan]

Kalar grins, pulling out a map of the surrounding area

Where would you like to go?

Sikka is knocked back quite easily, being quite light for her size. She struggles a bit, grinning

... Bondage? It's nice to see you're begining to play with me...

[AmberVael]

Signy looks over the map curiously, ruffling her wings.

[Lykan]

The map shows the town, and surrounding terrain. The desert, woods, mountains, vally, and swamp are all labled there.

[AmberVael]

Signy looks at the swamp with obvious interest.

[Ms_Elaneous]

"Um..." he bites his lip, "Actually, I'm just waiting until you change back to normal, Miss Sikka. The sooner, the less awkward we'll both feel." Vedran laughs a bit nervously, not having expected this at all. Why was she not changing back? he asks himself.

[Lykan]

Kalar grins

So you want to go to the swamp?

She smiles again

Say what you will... You know you like me like this.

[AmberVael]

Signy nods vigorously.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Kalar grins, kneeling down next to her

Can you fly yet, Signy? Can you swim?

She shakes her head both times.

She shakes her head again.

Signy... I think we should wait to go there, then... Swamps can be tricky, even for me...

Signy gives a small, pouting frown and looks back at the map.

[Lykan]

Kalar frowns, looking at the ground

He looks up again

You know what? If we stop at the Workshop first, I guess we could go.

[AmberVael]

Signy looks up, instantly getting happier. She ruffles her tiny wings and looks hopeful.

[Lykan]

Kalar smiles

Okay, then... Let's go.

[AmberVael]

Signy goes over to the portal and waits expectantly.

[Lykan]

Kalar grins and leads her out, and towards the workshop.

[AmberVael]

Signy follows.

[AmberVael]

Aesa and Rafael appear on the hilly section of her plane. Aesa is now floating about thirty feet above him and ten feet away.

Size and skill preference?

[Kyrian]

Hmm...larger than me, but not by an extreme amount. Skillful. I want a battle, not some "Ooo, I'm a big scary monster, you can't GAHH" crap.

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods.
I just hope you know that this one may win against you...
She begins tracing runes in the air.

[Kyrian]

Rafael grins up at her. Yea, but you'll bring me back if I die...won't you?

[AmberVael]

Aesa grins.
...maybe.
She traces a final rune, and a shimmering, white form begins filling in on the ground below her. It seems like it is about eight feet tall.

[Kyrian]

Maybe? You wouldn't want to leave Signy without her father, would you? Rafael turns his eyes to the form filling in, and Gram and Renegade appear on his back while a different design appears on both of the knuckle gloves.

[AmberVael]

Aesa chuckles.
Don't worry too much.

The form seems to be a massive suit of pure white armor. If it has any weapons, they are not readily apparent.

[Kyrian]

Rafael clenches his fists, and for a brief moment, two energies can be seen consuming them.

[AmberVael]

The armor finishes appearing, but still seems to be mostly composed of energy... its like it is not entirely solid, though it obviously has a physical presence.

[Kyrian]

Rafael tilts his head and steps back into a ready position.

[AmberVael]

The figure settles back into a defensive position as well.

[Kyrian]

Rafael starts to circle to the figure's right.

[AmberVael]

The figure somehow switches from its defensive position to a swift lunge, swiping a hand right in front of Rafael's face.
While the hand won't connect unless Rafael leans into it, a sudden shimmering force extends from the hand and acts as an indestructable, sharp, and very light blade.

[Kyrian]

Woah! Rafael leaps back and scores a cut on his chest. My turn, then? He leaps forward drawing Gram and swinging at the figure's left shoulder.

[AmberVael]

The figure blurs out of the way, dodging and moving past Rafael while spinning his arm to strike Rafael in the back, while the blade of force shifts to move along the edge of his arm facing Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Rafael falls forward as he's hit, and growls. He mimics the blur movement to try and slam Gram down on the figure's head.

[AmberVael]

The figure spins and blocks the sword with its blade of force, trying to press Rafael's sword back against him.

[Kyrian]

Rafael struggles, but the sword is very slowly being pressed back.

[AmberVael]

It keeps pressing, shifting its blade of force to a less awkward position and to help it get more leverage.

[Kyrian]

Rafael jumps back and growls again. He holds Gram in one hand and clenches his now empty left hand into a fist. Energy starts to surround it.

[AmberVael]

The creature lunges forwards and tries to slash his hand before he can fling the energy.

[Kyrian]

Rafael pulls his hand back, and swings Gram around at the creature's neck area.

[AmberVael]

The blade swipes at the creature's neck...
...and goes straight through, though the sword pulls a whisp of white energy with it.

Seemingly unaffected, the figure grabs for Gram with one hand while swiping at Rafael's legs with his blade-edged arm.

[Kyrian]

The figure grabs Gram, and Rafael swings up onto the sword, getting nicked by the attack as he does so. Finally, ice energy gathers in his left hand and he tosses it at the creature's face.

[AmberVael]

The creature gets hit by the energy and its head seems to harden a little, but it's still able to move its arms...
...and swing Gram around with impressive strength, probably hurling Rafael off and a good number of feet away.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gets sent back over ten feet and hits the ground, hard. He rolls over and glares at the creature. My weapon....bitch! He makes Gram vanish.

[AmberVael]

The creature is not disturbed by the loss of gram, but instead lets its own weapon swirl and orbit around itself in a dizzying and quick path that seems to be without pattern.

[Kyrian]

Rafael lays there on his stomach for a moment.

[AmberVael]

The figure leaps backwards and and throws its arm to point at Rafael, flinging the blade of force at him.

[Kyrian]

Rafael leaps to the side of the blade, his cuts healing slowly. He summons Finality (as that's what I'll be calling it until otherwise told) and throws it at the creature.

[AmberVael]

The blade of force flings back faster than the dagger and knocks it out of the air before it can reach the creature.

[Kyrian]

So that's how you want to do it... Rafael summons four Finalities, and flings them all at the creature.

[AmberVael]

The daggers turn into blade of force as the strike the creature, and hurt it like it were a normal person.
Which is to say that two blades ding off of its armor, one hits it along the side, and another gets it in the shoulder.
It lunges at Rafael, swinging its blade of force again.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gets another nice cut on his chest and stumbles back a bit, grinning. There's an answer... He draws Renegade, but instead of Renegade's normal blade, there is a blade of force there. As per usual with Kyrian's weapon, fire, ice, and lightning travel up and down the blade.

[AmberVael]

The creature leaps back, flinging its blade at Rafael again.

[Kyrian]

Rafael rolls to his left the rushes the creature, swinging eRenegade.

[AmberVael]

The blade of force continues past for a little and then swings back towards Rafael, charging faster than him.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gets impaled in the gut, but continues his rush and swing.

[AmberVael]

The creature blocks the sword with a bracered arm, but Renegade cuts through a ways. Whispy energy begins bleeding from its "wound."

[Kyrian]

Rafael presses harder, trying to get all the way through. His wound continues bleeding, though he doesn't show acknowledgment of it yet.

[AmberVael]

The blade of force slowly presses its way between the wounded arm and the sword, though Rafael keeps pressing its arm back slowly.

[Kyrian]

Rafael keeps pressing, though his strength begins to diminish, as he's bleeding pretty badly.

[AmberVael]

The creature flips back out of the way and gets into a more defensive position.

[Kyrian]

Rafael scowls and holds his ground, still bleeding and nearing closer to death.

[AmberVael]

The creature waits.

[Kyrian]

Rafael rushes forward, slower than usual, and swings.

[AmberVael]

Its quick blade flashes and blocks, then counters with a strike towards the chest.

[Kyrian]

The strike hits and sends Rafael to the ground.

[AmberVael]

The creature vanishes, and Aesa gently descends and heals him.

[Kyrian]

Rafael slams a fist to the ground before getting up.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles at him.
Hey, don't be hard on yourself. I've had lifetimes to train.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gives her a small smile and puts his arms around her.

[AmberVael]

Aesa puts her arms around him as well, then grins.
Hey, do you happen to have any ideas on how to use the soul of a god of destruction in an item?

[Kyrian]

Rafael raises an eyebrow. Do...do I even want to know how you got that?

[AmberVael]

Aesa chuckles.
I was contracted to take care of him.

[Kyrian]

Hmm..I don't know, I've never used items with souls in them. At least, not to my knowledge.

[AmberVael]

Aesa hums to herself, thinking about how she could do it.

[Kyrian]

Rafael leans against her, still a little upset about losing.

[AmberVael]

Hey, cheer up. Last guy I used that form against died in about three seconds.

[Kyrian]

Rafael kisses her on the cheek, and smiles a bit.

[AmberVael]

Its even easier to use now that I've got that overseer rune complex in place... hmm..

[Kyrian]

Love you.. Rafael smiles and nods, listening to her.

[AmberVael]

Aesa doesn't seem to hear him as she flicks her wings.

[Kyrian]

Rafael doesn't seem fazed by that and just hugs her.

[AmberVael]

A ruby appears in Aesa's hand and she ponders it.

[Kyrian]

That it? Rafael looks at it.

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods and flips it over in her hand.

[Kyrian]

You should make him a butler.

[AmberVael]

Aesa snickers.
Amusing as it is, my player thinks I have too many unused entities on my plane right now. I don't need more.

[Kyrian]

Yea...Hmm...

[AmberVael]

She hums and spins the ruby around in her hand.

[Kyrian]

How about a Sword of OMGAESAJSTPWNDJ00!....?

[AmberVael]

Aesa snickers.
Sorry, but swords are too boring and common. No appeal to them.

[Kyrian]

You know you like the name though... Rafael grins.

[AmberVael]

Aesa just gives him a look.

[Kyrian]

What about adding it to your whip?

[AmberVael]

Aesa shakes her head.
No style to that- besides, I'm not sure I could add divine essence to my chosen weapon. Or if I could, I'm not sure it'd be wise.

[Kyrian]

Well, as I'm unfamiliar with using souls with items I'm afraid I have no idea what adding this soul would do.

[Ms_Elaneous]

Vedran holds up a finger at Succu-Sikka's statement, "Actually, you'd be wrong. I like Miss Sikka as usual much better than any sexy beast, thank you very much." Maybe in just a few more seconds hers will wear off...

[Lykan]

Sikka looks at Vedran with the same lustful grin

Come on... You know you want me...

Mory looks around the tower, never really having been there herself

[AmberVael]

Aesa shrugs.
I'm not entirely sure how I'll use it either, but adding it to an already divine weapon is a bad idea.

[Kyrian]

Rafael nods. How's Signy?

[AmberVael]

She's good.
Aesa hums and begins going down to the catacombs.

[Ms_Elaneous]

He carefully keeps her pinned to the chair as best he can and then moves to take his seat, "Now, now, Miss Sikka. I'd hate to compromise our student-teacher relationship." This is said rather teasingly, as usual, and he picks up one of the books he tucked away and begins to read it, or at least, pretend to. What he is really doing is trying to plan what to do next if she doesn't snap out of it.

[Kyrian]

Rafael follows her.

[Lykan]

Mory spots Aesa on the way down to the catacombs and waves, biting her lip.

Hey...

Sikka grins

Well, I want a bit more out of our relationship, Vedran...

She then poofs back to normal. She looks around for a moment, then *meep!*s, looking at the ground, her face turning beat red

[AmberVael]

Aesa sees Mory and smiles at her.
Hey... I've been meaning to find you.
She goes over to give her a hug.

[Kyrian]

Rafael stands there.

[Lykan]

Mory returns the hug, shyly

I'm... Umm... Sorry for the way I've acted toward you...

[AmberVael]

We've both started off poorly.
Aesa smiles.
Lets give each other another chance, okay?

[Kyrian]

Rafael gives a small sigh and goes back upstairs.

[Ms_Elaneous]

At this Vedran sinks into his chair with a sigh of relief before practically hooting with laughter. "I'm not sure, but I may just have to ban those change stones in my house!"

[Lykan]

Sikka continues looking at the ground, her face still red with embarrassment

Mory watches Rafael go and sighs, looking back up at Aesa and nodding

[AmberVael]

Aesa puts a hand on her cheek and gently tries to see if the gangrene and other slow debilitating effects on Mory and acting and forming normally- in merely a physical capacity.

Vedran's stitches slide back into place and then he leans forward and tries to ruffle her hair a bit, a quiet smile on his face. "Don't worry about it. I really do have a sister like that. Well, I mean, not with me, but... you get the point."

The gangrene hardly seems normal. It radaites planar energy from the Negative Energy plane, plus something else... Though what it is, you can't be quite sure.

On top of that, it actually seems more of a curse then a disease...

Mory looks up, biting her lip

Sikka contnues looking at the ground. She really seems messed up by the effects of the changestone

Vedran notices that Sikka doesn't seem quite right. He gets up from his chair and crouches down in front of her, tilting his head a little, "Miss Sikka? Are you alright?" His smile is one of quiet concern, not teasing or trying to embarass.

Aesa frowns a little, then smiles at Mory.
Nothing that can't be dealt with. Were you going anywhere in particular?

Tears form in Sikka's eyes

Aesa smiles a little more.
Perhaps I could suggest the vaults? Anything from conversation with a mad axe to shapechanging... you can find it.

Vedran almost out of instinct wants to give her a hug, but figures that may only exacerbate the problem. Still with the same smile, he asks, "Wrong? Mind explaining it to me, Miss Sikka? Maybe I can help you work it out and feel better?"

Sikka shakes her head, still looking at the ground

Mory nods, smiling, though the hood of her cloak still obscures her face

Vedran sighs a little and puts one of the books on the table in front of her and goes to make some tea. She'll talk when she feels like it. Or not. In the meantime, perhaps he can distract her with a book.

Aesa grins and tosses her ruby to herself.

Sikka continues looking at the ground, but relaxes a bit at the scent of the tea.

Mory smiles again

Mommy? Can you do something before we go?

Aesa smiles and raises an eyebrow.

Can you remove the rot from my face?

She looks at the ground

I know it won't be permenent... But I don't want to have to hide my face all the time...

You know... I think I may have a bit of a... more permanent solution.

She looks down at her metallic feet, before looking up again

Vedran decides to go with ginseng tea today. He whistles his eerie tune absentmindedly as he waits for the water to boil, as he usually does.

Aesa smiles and first just tries to remove the gangrene normally.

Sikka continues looking at her feet, still quite embarassed.

The gangrene dissipears, but the "curse" is still there. She takes off the hood, and smiles, the rot gone from her face. She hugs Aesa, her antenae twitching

Now, let me try this other solution. It may not get rid of it entirely, but...
Aesa places a hand on Mory's head and tries to place a similar "curse" but uses positive energy instead.
She tries to estimate and make them of the same strength, but if she errs at all she will err on the weak side.
If you see anything odd happening, or feel anything odd, tell Lykan or I immediately, okay?

Vedran pours the tea into a pair of tea cups. He holds them rather well for having somewhat large hands, not to mention the stitching on them. He puts Sikka's on the table and takes his seat to take a sip of his own.

Aesa smiles a little and tries to determine if the contesting energies will be too much for her to bear.

Vedran laughs, "Don't apologize, Miss Sikka. It's a very flattering experience for me, to be sure, but you need to remember that was the succubus talking. It happens." He can't think of a good example of another incident, but trusts she'll take his word on it.

It appears Mory will be fine for now... Though what the future will bring, one cannot be certain. The balance between the two energies doesn't seem to always be equal, with the positive energy occasionally being greater in strength then the negative energy, and occasions where the negative energy is stronger.

Mory smiles a bit, hugging Aesa

She looks up, frowing

Vedran leans back and mulls over both statements very carefully. These were two very big issues and both needed to be approached carefully. "Miss Sikka, how old are you?"

Rafael comes down the stairs and find the two. He tries to give Aesa a hug and whisper "I'm sorry" in her ear.

Mory looks around the room, her eyes lit up with wonder. When she sees Rafael, she waves happily, seeing him without her face obstructed for the first time. She thinks a bit about Aesa's question

Vedran seems a bit taken aback, but merely shows it by raising an eyebrow, "Alright..." He realizes some physical and mental age altering might be in effect. "How old are you... physically?"

Mory nods, then flips it into the air, and it lands on its side. Her eyes widen

Vedran puts a finger to his lips before speaking, trying to take this subject from a rather mature view. He also should give Aesa the chance to explain this sort of thing to Sikka herself.

"Well, although it probably showed more than it should when you were in a succubus form, those sorts of thoughts and feelings and such," he sort of gestures in an 'et cetera' way, "are normal for someone about your age. Generally, girls will talk to their mothers about them, boys will talk to their fathers. I'd suggest you see Miss Aesa about it." He smiles widely and closes his eyes, leaning back comfortably into his chair.

He was able to make these in almost half a minute... They aren't exactly comfertable... But they keep the rot from hurting my ability to walk.
