Introduce them to your nice friend Zombie Dragon, with more HD than everyone else here combined. Sure, you can't control him, but you don't need to. Just keep him behind a suspiciously sealed door, then wait for the suckers to open it thinking there's loot.

Or the standard spellcaster "Lock them down, then AoE DoT them to death".

Considering Dread Necros get their charisma modifier to undead controlled per hit die, controlling anything shouldn't be a problem.

38 Charisma (18+2 Racial +5 levels +5 inherent +6 Enhancement +2 Lich) = +14 mod, so we have 18*20*2(rod of undead mastery) = 720 HD of controlled undead.

That's 17 Great Wyrm Gold Dragon Zombies with half strength breath weapons, if you can find or make the corpses.

Draconomicon 197, first line of the zombie dragon section: "A zombie dragon is created by use of the animate dead spell or by a vampiric dragon (see above)."

The main benefit is that you get to keep the dragon's breath weapon (damaging breath weapons are at half strength), and there is no HD cap, so you can create zombies with more than 20 HD.
