The vampires in Legacy of Kane don't zombiefy people.

They are such badasses that one form of Raziel would eat each of the noobie FF7 cast's souls in one way or another.

Also, you aren't a bad guy, you are a textbook case of an anti-hero. Kain is a prick, but he still is the Scion of Balance, and generally does the good thing.
