What are some good, useful utility spells?

If you're seeking aid, then you might want to give information about class, book access, level, and whatnot. If not, then I guess silent image and stone shape are cool. Really broad set of applications for those spells.

If you're playing in an intrigue campaign like you get in Eberron or some parts of the Forgotten Realms, might I suggest the humble cantrip Mending? It is *really* useful for fixing tiny damage to things, like copper nameplates that've been scratched up to be unreadable.
