Recruitment Threads?

Just a quick question so I don't break any rules.

If I want to start a discussion thread about an online game in the gaming forum, and also use that thread to find forum members who also play/want to play that game, adding them as game-friends or creating a list of forum members open to being added as game-friends, is that allowed?

Sheriff: You are welcome to start a discussion thread about a game (assuming there isn't an active thread on the topic already). I suppose it's fine to mention that you're willing to add people as friends in-game, as an aside, but that isn't really what the discussion forums are for. If it becomes a problem, we'll let you know.
