I'm playing a warder, and I realized that I get a lot of AoOs, and was wondering if there were uses for them besides just hitting people.

I know about the Bodyguard feat to aid another, are there any other ways to use them besides combat maneuvers and aid another?

You might want to try this.

The Evasive Reflexes feat allows you to take a 5' step whenever you would be allowed an Attack of Opportunity. Combined with some abilities that make opponents provoke AoO when they attack you...

In Harm's Way (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/in-harm-s-way-combat) is the next step up from Bodyguard and it allows you to take the attack instead of an ally.

Since you're a Warder, if you're using Path of War Expanded, the feat Seize the Opportunity will let you apply all sorts of combat maneuvers in place of your normal AoO. I'm particularly fond of using this with bull rush to knock foes backwards or out of the way of your allies.

For Seize the Opportunity, would a maneuver count as an "attack action"?

If you go Sieze the Opportunity route you could nab Vital Strike to give your AoO's some bite to keep them closer in line with Strike damage.

No it does not. Maneuvers are standard actions, attack actions are a specific subset of that which was made up by paizo to keep people from vital striking on a charge. I wish I was joking.
