Half Giant Psywarrior help needed

So, we are about to start a game with phb1 and phb2 as our base, also psionic classes and races were allowed. I was thinking of building half giant psywarrior as a tank/bruiser. Starting level is 4 and I havent rolled my stats yet.

My questions are following:

How to build a nice tank/bruiser half giant psywarrior that starts from lvl 4 ?


All tips are welcomed, sorry for my english and if I have said anything wrong so far. Ive played only 2 campaings so far, so Im new to this.

Psywarrior 8/Crusader 2 (Tome of Battle)/Slayer 10 (d20SRD) is a very powerful lockdown/tank/bruiser build. Just look for some lockdown guides online for more details.

If Tome of Battle is not available, the Psywarrior 10/Slayer 10 is just fine.

Thank you, but I cant use slayer or crusader this game, just plain regular hg psywarrior and classic classes and phb2 ones. Also, What feats and spells I should use at lvl 4 already and what should I master when I gain levels.

why can't you use Slayer? ... its in the same book as Psionic Warrior... or is it a flat "No Prestige Classes" as well?

Take Psionic Body (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#psionicBody) once and Psionic Talent (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#psionicTalent) as many times as you can. You can take Psicrystal Affinity (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#psicrystalAffinity) if you want to at level 1. For later levels, Expanded Knowledge (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#expandedKnowledge) (Metamorphosis (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/metamorphosis.htm)) and Metamorphic Transfer (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#metamorphicTransfer) at levels 14 and 15, respectively, round out the build.

Place your highest stat in wisdom and use a mix of long duration and short duration buffs to augment yourself. Expansion, Strength of my Enemy, Vigor, Psionic Lion's Charge and Hustle are some of my favorite powers.

Yes, no prestige classes aswell, for some reason there are so many house rules.
