I'm looking to add some interesting concepts to my campaign in building.

I'm wondering what your favorite homebrew races, classes, backgrounds ect. are so far. So far in liking the looks of gnomes' sanguine knight and legionnaire.

Preferably from This board.

I'm partial to my Fighter homebrew, it isn't done but you can find the core mechanic in another game and port it over to 5e.

13th Age has a thing called "Escalation Dice" (or Die, I forget how they word it) which starts at 1 when you roll initiative and increases each round. As battle goes on the players get stronger as you add the escalation die to attack rolls and I think damage rolls.

It makes combat speed up and it allows a sense of momentum that D&D doesn't replicate.

So even if you don't like my Fighter idea please check out 13th Age Escalation Die.

Also their skill system is much better than 5e's. Where 5e wants to be very vague but doesn't know how to do it, 13th Age pulls it off very well.

A few of my personal favorites that I allow in my games:

James Introcaso's expanded summoning- makes conjurer/minionmancer a viable archetype. High-risk, high-reward:

Sindeloke's Wild-Bonded Barbarian (which I also use as a BM fix):

And the Hussar, sort of a noble knight deal:

I'm rather fond of the Crowdsourced Elemental Monk Homebrew (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?412907-Crowdsourced-Fix-of-Way-of-the-Four-Elements-Monk-Subclass/page3&p=19249080#post19249080Crowdsourced) we made as a forum a while back. Dralnu did some great work making it look nice; both his and Person_Man's versions are excellent.

I'm partial to the Homebrew races and classes i've made and found in my signature.

Crusader is my take on a Divine Warlock and Engineer is my take on the 5e version of the Astral Construct pet class.

I've also created a few homebrew races based on popular fantasy races such as Asura (Guild Wars 2), Panderans (World of Warcraft), Warforged, Tibbits, Dhampir's (Half Vampire), Breton's (Elder Scrolls) and Nephlim (Diablo)

Are there any homebrew monsters? I saw more homebrew classes and subclasses than monsters. I know, there is a lot of monsters in MM, but you can quickly start to repeat yourself, especially if DMs are changing and then you see them using same monsters. They are very hard to come by and are much more sought resource than custom classes or something.

There was one I saw that was a campaign setting, had a monster called the scopiondile or scorpiodile or whatever.

I lost it but it was essentially a huge or gargantuan scorpion/crocodile hybrid beast. There were other cool creatures too.

If I can find it I'll put it on here.

If you don't mind my shameless self-service, I like my two divine subclasses for Fighter and Rogue. They've received fairly positive reviews.

I'm fond of this system. Very fond in fact:

Not a class or anything. But certainly awesome homebrew.

I found some source of Eberron monsters, mainly Daelkyr and Mournland aberrations, it would be nice if somewhere were monsters from other settings, like Dark sun and others. And some NPCs with various levels.
