Princes of the apocalypse book question

So got princes of the apocalypse today and skimmed through it a bit but don't know if I'm blind or I just missed it but I thought the bird race aarocka would be in it in addition to the genasi races?

It is not. The aarakocra and goliath are included in the player's companion only.

Depp gnomes and aarocka are only in Princes of Apocalypse players companion pdf, available on wizards site. Genasi are in both the book and pdf. Silly, I know ;)
