View Full Version : 3.P - How are Devotion Feats powered in PF?

Messing around with character building and wondering how the interaction between Devotion feats (like Travel for example) and PF works?

It is in a PF system, with 3.5 allowed. PF doesn't have turn/rebuke undead, so I'm at a loss.

If they don't interact at all, what would be a reasonable ruling?

I'd say such feats are powered by the cleric's channel energy ability.

Channel energy happens to be a re-write of a variant rule that first appeared in Complete Divine.

Sure it does, you just have to get them via (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/turn-undead--final) feats. (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/command-undead---final) Which is fine because clerics get more feats in PF anyway, so even after you pick up Turn/Rebuke you'll still have some left over.

The most straightforward ruling is that the cleric player has to have those feats as a prereq to any devotion or other divine feat they want to pick up or power. The alternative is Ashtagon's suggestion, which is just letting channel power these feats directly.
