I've read the feat, and frankly I dont see what all the hype is, so feel free to show me the light.

TWF, full-attack Combat Rhythm up as many hits as you can get, which should be a lot with touch attacks, then full-attack with mass attack bonus next turn, pretty much guarenteeing all hit. Combine with Avalanche of Blades for more ridiculousness.

Source of the feat? I am now vitally interested in something which I did not know existed mere moments ago.

Stormguard Warrior + Kharmic Strike + Robilar's Gambit + Two-Weapon Fighting + Defensive Sweep + Double-Bladed Sword + Raging Mongoose/Avalance of Blades = WIN.

Every time a foe attacks, and twice if he hits, you get an AoO. You hold the AoO to get a +4 to attack and damage against him. You have unlimited held AoOs, since you aren't actually taking them. Then, on your turn, you just open up with huge attack/damage bonuses. If you got in enough AoOs—say you suffered 6 attacks, of which two hit, that's +32 to hit and to damage on EACH attack you make on your turn.

Player's Handbook II.

You lose lots of AC, but much less than a Shock Trooper build.

It also only works if your opponent is a melee fighter like yourself.

It does indeed only work against melee opponents. Having a reach weapon helps, but negates the TWF option for it, which is a shame. You can always manifest/cast Expansion/Enlarge person on yourself, Girallon's Blessing, and the like, but it is fundamentally based around close combat.

OP, what were you looking for?

I love Stormguard, but I've yet to play a character with it, so here's a question for others: do you tend to max Combat Rhythm one round then full attack, or do you convert your lower attacks into Combat Rhythm so you get more consistent damage each round?

I TWF my whole off-hand as Combat Rhythm tactics, with my double-bladed sword Warblade, and then use my 4 primary hand attacks, each one at +12 to hit for +12 damage. But I almost always have a much larger bonus than that, thanks to Robilar's Gambit and Defensive Sweep.
