As much as I would like to do a webcomic, my artistic ability is about on par with that of a jellyfish. At best I can do badly drawn stick figures. But I can write (for a given value of write). Nothing literary, but (at least I hope) fun and readable. I've been influenced by the old style pulp stories and have tried to capture some of that feel.
So in stead of doing a webcomic, I've started doing webfiction.
I mostly write short fiction (short stories, novelettes and novellas), spread across a number of genres within the sf/f family (ranging from sword and sorcery to steampunk to urban fantasy to sci-fi and others), the average length of which are around the 8-12K mark. I have a large number written and have started releasing them three times a week, with small bite sized chapters of the stories. So far there are 4 completed stories and 2 more underway. I currently have 40 odd stories written with more being added regularly, so it will take a while to get through them all...
While it may say a thousand worlds on the cover, it hasn't quite hit that number yet - but Tales From a Dozen Worlds hardly sounds impressive :)
If anyone has a few minutes to spare and (hopefully) looking for a bit of entertainment, the site itself is here (http://talesfromathousandworlds.com/) while the stories themselves start here (http://talesfromathousandworlds.com/the-stories/).
Any commentary is of course most welcome.
