O Danny Boy discussion

For those of you (like me) that aren't that familiar with Danny Boy (except Chumbawamba) I found this:

It includes some decent singing. In fact as soon as I got to that point in the comic I stopped so that I could read Elan's lyrics while listening. It made the comic quite poignant.

But then Belkar comes along... LOL! See even if you hate him, you gotta admit, we need him. Elsewise, we would all be crying about a STICK figure comic. That would increase our nerd XP by 1,000.

TRIVIA: It's real name is "Londonderry Air" referring to the second city of Northern Ireland (after Belfast).

LESS-RELATED-TRIVIA: Londonderry (Or Derry, depending on upbringing), is politically correctly nicknamed as "Stroke City" (As in Derry/Londonderry)

And yes, it's a beautiful song. It's cool to get a reference so close to home. (I live in county [London]Derry)

I think it's simply wonderful how the Giant put the words that fit perfectly to OOTS theme while staying true to the original Danny Boy.

It's so very well done. You just gotta love it.
