Ranger taking both archetypes

Any suggestions on what I could trade out to balance taking both ranger archetype?

Give Ranger a pet, Boost the Power of the Beastmasters pet. Balance done, ranger is now a better class.

You mean just give the ranger a standard pet? No scaling? How would this be controled?

1st, you should give this the 5e tag since you said both archetypes and that straight up works for pathfinder and doesn't exist in any others.

2nd I just moved everything to a bonus action for the ranger and left it at that. And since i haven't tested that function out yet, I haven't tried out the idea of scaling it the same as the druids wildshape and up to one size larger then the pc

3rd for hunter i just gave all of the different moves at each level since they weren't very strong to begin with
