So i am making a teleportation specialist. any ideas which spells work best?

What source material is allowed? What base classes are you considering? What about being a Jaunter (PrC - Expedition to the Demonweb Pits)?

It's not just spells.


Immediate Magic ACF (PHB 2 p68): Conjuration specialist — Abrupt Jaunt. Immediate action short range teleport (10')
Dimensional Jaunt ( Complete Mage p41) Reserve feat — multiple short teleports



For the spells themselves well you just have the basic Dimension Door, Teleport, Greater Teleport and Plane-shift.

all books are availble. and i'm a socerer 4 atm. want to go Wayfarer Cirqueliste at level 7.

While it is not technically a teleportation spell, it still serves the same purpose and can bring you almosst anywhere on the same planet.

Although Access to it will be difficult for you, since you are a sorcerer.

The spell I am talking about is Master Eart from the Spell Compendium, which is a druid spell that can bring you anywhere that is connected through the earth.

There are actually a bunch of really fun Teleportation spells around, mostly used for repositioning allies and enemies during combat. Baleful and Benign Transposition and Tactical Transportation to name a few. The aforementioned reserve feats and the Wayfarer Guide help are very good.

That being said, this does slot you as a Battlefield Controller. Which isnt bad, its really a powerful thing to be. Dont forget to grab other BFC spells like Web, the various Walls, and Black Tentacles so you have targets to teleport your enemies into.

Aside from Baleful Transposition what spells allow you to teleport enemies? Transposition wouldn't be a good choice since you would hit yourself with the BFC.

Teleports enemies:
Trobriand's Baleful Teleport
Tactical Teleportation
Dimension Hop
Dimension Shuffle


Also, you position the BFC away from where yourself/allies are or where you want to be, and simply move your enemies into it.

There are also 2 spells that deal damage, 1 as a cone of fire or 1 as a line of electricity, while allowing you to teleport you somewhere inside their AoE.

If you want to go all in on the teleportation theme, you should consider the feat Martial Study (Shadow Jaunt) so you can teleport inside AMFs.

There's also Lightning Leap, which turns you into a lightning bolt. You appear at the end of the bolt after damaging creatures along the path. PHB 2, I believe.

No they aren't. Some of the other Shadow Hand maneuvers are, but the Shadow Jaunt line isn't.

Heighten Spell is going to be important, and then i recommend the teleportation and many of the conjuration reserve feats from Complete Mage.

I wrote up a homebrew fixed-list caster based around summoning and teleporting. You might look at his list (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?317495-The-Conjurer-summons-teleports-and-balance-Oh-my!-%28Fixed-List-Caster-Project%29) for inspiration. (I only used core/SpC, though)

For giggles, I recommend the Fling Ally and Fling Enemy feats if you can figure out how to get them. Sometimes the best way to teleport someone is to polymorph into something gigantic and fling them into the sea a mile away.
