Two Ranger varients powers double?

If this hypothetical character was planar ranger/urban ranger would he have double the favored enemies and both combat styles?

You cannot trade out the same feature twice for the variants. Both of those give up the default favored enemy, so you can choose one or the other. Additionally, if it's gestalt, both urban and planar ranger count as the same base class.

That said, rangers aren't exactly known for breaking games, so I would talk with your DM to see if he'd allow it.
