You find yourself in a room. Okay, that's a bit generous, it's basically a hole with a wooden floor over it and some boxes in; you can't really see around too well, though. Apparently, you're under someone's house. Great.

(Knowledge: Local 4+1=5) Your knowledge does not extend to identifying houses by their floors.

(Knowledge: Architecture and Engineering 16+1=17) That said, it is a very nice floor - you wouldn't find that in the poorer parts of town. You guess that rules out the thieves' guild, and the pavilion and common rule themselves out. Further, you don't believe you could be under the town hall's stage. That leaves the bar, which seems unlikely as the floor isn't reeking of alcohol, and the house of Jhenna. You're probably there. A skilled architect might have uncovered 1 more piece of information, but alas, you are not one.

But anyway, what are you going to do about it?

Magnus Altair immediately looks for any materials he can use to disguise himself, particularly any materials that can be used to make himself look more like a beggar. Immediately afterwards, Magnus casts a spell of protection on himself, preparing in case there is an ambush waiting for him outside.

Also Magnus is casting Mage Armor on himself. (6 hour duration)

Despite your best efforts, you find nothing. Partly because you didn't really search very well, but mainly because there doesn't seem to be much apart from alcohol, glasses, and stuff you'd expect in a pub.

You do, however, manage to cast your spell without interruption (Mage armour, +4 AC, 6 hours remaining).

Magnus quickly looks for an exit from the room, readying himself for any potential combat, looking for any one that seems to be paying attention to him before exiting the room.

Active Spot check in addition to any passive spot checks i'm entitled to [roll0]

Despite your poor vision skills, you quickly locate an exit and find yourself in the top of Jhenna's house. It has a slightly sad air to it; this is the house of a single lady who doesn't enjoy her life much. (Search 9+1=10) you notice that there is a bow rack, but it held only a single bow which is not present. There is a space to hang an also-absent quiver.

Magnus searches the house for any food, if he finds any, he'll leave 5 gold pieces behind and takes the food with him.

You find enough food that you can carry to sustain you for a couple of days. You leave five gold pieces in an obvious place, like the considerate little thief you are. People eye you oddly when you leave, and you consider that it may be a little odd that someone who no-one saw enter should be walking out of Jhenna's house. Oh well.

(Reflex 17+4>/= ???) You narrowly dodge out of the way of a spell that would have stuck you to the floor! But, you're entangled and sickened by the spell!
(Initiative 18+6 > ???) You get the jump on your assailant! You know roughly where he is, but he's invisible!
(Spellcraft 14+10 >= ???) That was a sticky floor spell with the cloudy conjuration ability added to it!

Magnus immediately retaliates with a fireball [roll0] before attempting to move out of the sticky floor spell away from the assailant. Hopefully withdrawing towards the direction of any crowds.

(Reflex ???+4-2>???) You almost trip as the other caster places (Spellcraft ???+10>???) an incendiary slime spell below you! Watch out; any fire damage dealt on the slime will ignite it! Otherwise, it's just a jumped-up Grease, though.

Magnus goes invisible and moves 20 feet away from the assailants last known location and 10 feet perpendicular to it.

Hey, just a head's up, I'm currently on a family vacation, and will be without wifi or cell reception for the majority of the day from now to the 9th, I should still be able to post at least once a day, but it'll probably be at a very late hour, sorry for the inconvience.
