In a 6-person party, will you ever get 9th level spells?
What if the casters are multiclassed (2 classes)?
Is it better to have single or multiclassed chars?
My party is:
-CN F half elf bard, S15/D18/C7/I18/W10/Cha 18, darts/sword and shield style
-NG M half elf cleric/ranger, S18/89/D18/C18/I9/W18/C13, hammers/fails/maces/twf, skeletal undead
-LG M dwarf defender, S18/00/D15/Con19/Int12/W15/C7, axes, twf, hammers
-LN M gnome fighter/illusionist, S9/D18/C16/I19/W10/Cha8, crossbows, staves
-CG M elf archer, S18/70/D19/C17/I9/W15/C8, longswords, longbows, single weapon style, cadaverous undead
-N M halfling fighter/thief, S17/D19/C18/I12/W10/C8, shortswords, shortbows, locks/traps
I don't want to miss any good options, but I dont want to pass up on any neat racial traits (like gnomes getting high con save bonuses that a single-classed mage wouldn't get, or missing out on crossbows because the thief uses shortbows, or not being able to use the trusted defender, stuff like that).
