Alternate Methods for Persistent Spell Effects

Extend Spell and other feats exist, but are there any spells or magic items that extend (or maintain) other spells? I seem to recall there being some spells and such.

For concentration spells, there are a number of ways to make something else concentrate on the spell for you, and some may even be able to do so all day. I'm too lazy to look them all up though.

I may be misreading, but I think he wants ways other than metamagic to have his buffs last all day.

There's always Permanency, which has a short whitelist of spells it definitely works on, and an "ask your DM" clause for everything else.
