A friend got me started on this a week or two ago. It's gamified edutainment and not at all a normal game... but it's the best maintenance-teaching tool I've ever seen for guns. I have learned things I didn't know about guns that I both own and have done significant work on (trigger replacement on an AK, assembling the entire lower from a kit on my AR, etc.).
It also exposes a lot of the design influences (rotating bolts on certain rifles) that carry over, and how the operational difference between an open-bolt SMG design and a closed-bolt rifle creates significant additional complexity.
