Like the title says, Iim in search of a site similar to MW, but with a better version of a 5E sheet. Something a little cleaner, a little.. I'm not sure. just feeling a little dissatisfied with MW's 5e sheet.

I use Google Docs (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Z9vkbb7-ABu-zG-kXaQtorUpCpfl4-IvxCISAfveNPQ/edit#gid=0), because I can make it auto calcualte things and set up the info in a way that makes sense for the class.

If you use roll20 my 5e Shaped sheet (https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2016392/d-and-d-5e-shaped-character-sheet) has received much praise.

You can also use the sheet on a tablet for RL playing as well.

I forgot to mention I'm not very tech inclined; I can manage the very basics of excel, but I haven't learned macro writing (yet). I can probably manage the Google docs spreadsheet, but it'd probably be a bit Spartan to look at.

Kryx, the previews of your work look interesting, but I can't figure out how to navigate that medium. Where/how do I actually download the sheet, and what file type is it/what program do I need to open them offline?

Roll20 is an online tabletop. That's the only place my sheet works. You can download a tablet app to see it on tablets.
No download/offline.

Is there a way to upload/host online the fillable PDF's from WOTC? Or the same for an Excel doc I create? Feeling inspired by the Google Docs spreadsheet, but a little tricky manipulating it the way I'd like.

Hmm, I would like to have an alternative too.

DocHub (https://dochub.com/) works well for hosting form-fillable PDFs.
