I've done a little more tweaking on my outrider build, and I think i'm getting closer to balance. I swapped out Favored Enemy, and Maneuvers granted by the regular spell-less ranger and gave them, an animal companion, and a version of superiority dice that does not offer the utility of maneuvers.

The animal companion adds very little in terms of bonus damage, but instead will help make up for the utility lost from giving up on Maneuvers. As far as bonus damage, it should be pretty much on par with the original spell-less ranger.

The end result is a health blend of Ranger/Rogue, with afew custom abilities thrown in to make it a little unique. I think it could preform both the Ranger and the Rogues job without overshadowing either class.

Here is what i've got so far. I could use some critique.

1: Animal Companion (as Beastmasters), Natural Explorer
2: Fighting Style, Quarry Dice 4d8
3: Expertise, Archetype
4: Ability Score Improvement
