Hey All. I just wanted to get some feedback on the Magus I'm putting together for a PVP arena.

I rate it a 7, but I don't know out of what number.

Can't accurately assess it without more information. What sort of PvP arena? Is it duels to the death in big empty rooms? Do you know who you'll be up against? Are you building for as much damage as possible, or do you want to be unkillable and win through attrition?

Also, why the Alchemist dip?

Regardless, there is some that I can say right away:

1. You're five BAB short of qualifying for Improved Critical at level 5.
2. Ditch the wand. Not worth the money. Pick up a Bracers of Armor +1 and a Cloak of Resistance +1 in its place.

PVP arena is duels to the death in several different sized rooms, some are big and empty, some have walls to hide behind or buildings to hide in. I'm trying to be viable against spellcasters primarily (Hence focusing on TAC), and then hoping to be able to stand vs melee as well.

Alchemist dip is primarily for more Dex from Mutagen, and I am only missing out on 1 level 2 spell at the moment, which I think is worth it?

1.) Have ditched Improved Critical - I forgot about the BAB requirement when I grabbed it. Not sure what to replace it with at the moment.
2.) I only get 3 lvl1 spells each day, so depending on who I am fighting that would be used on
shock shield/expeditious retreat/reduce person/True Strike etc. The wand is to make sure that I always have casts of Shocking Grasp available. I'd contemplate reducing it to a level 1 wand if there was a good suggestion on what else to spend money on.

Actually, you're missing out your improved arcane pool ability at level 5; i.e. instead of getting a +1 weapon, you can now get a KEEN weapon (or flaming or plain ol' +2).

Your build really excels at... having a high dexterity?

You say that you want to be capable against casters. I assume the casters are gonna be the same level as your character (maybe I'm wrong?). By 5th level every caster and their mom is gonna be flying, levitating, or air stepping.

I'm not seeing anything in your build that let's you T.C.O.B. When your enemy is in the air. Not to mention all the Clerics and Druids who can Meld With Stone, buff up, then Hulk Smash.

You say that there are going to be places to hide. What's the plan for dealing with enemies the specialize in hiding? It looks like your perception is pretty low. How're you gonna fight kiting, stealthy opponents?

How about dealing with invisibility in general? By 5th level a whole hurf-load of classes have access to it. I don't see any means for you character to see through it or turn it off.
