Welcome to The Sticks Awards - The Best of The Hundred!

The Sticks Awards are given to the best strips of all times, chosen by the polls here in the Playground.

Previously, the voting format was like this: for each 10 comics, chronologically chosen, OotS fans selected one to qualify to the Best of the Hundred poll. Then they elected, with another poll featuring the winners, the best for that hundred comics.

After that poll, the board imposed a 5-option limit on the polls created for the threads. So we had to stick with this bizarre format of two simultaneous 5-option polls, with open voting to take double-voters away. We even had to do a runoff for the #161-170 batch, because there was a triple tie on that, and the Best of the Hundred poll could not have more than 10 options because of this limit.

But after that, the format changed again, and now we have only one poll with 5 options. After all the hundred strips were voted ("the regular season"), then we'll have 4 polls with 5 of the winners ("the playoffs"), which will yield 4 big winners for the last poll of that hundred ("the finals").

For this poll only, though, I'll set up one poll with the first 5 most voted strips from the previous polls, then another with the other 5 (this one) and then a little one with the two winners.

So, here they are! The 10 finalists for this Hundred!

171: Classic situation, excellent lines throughout, always developing the characters!

Hm. This is definitely a hard one.

Hmmmmmm
"before meeting Elan I would never have weighed the pros and cons of being eaten by a dragon" is one of the best lines eva...
but so is "your approval fills me with shame."

I wonder why the first leg was a success and this one looks like a total failure... Maybe it has something to do with this being the first poll that features Miko in one of the strips. :smallwink:

PS: Oo! I'm an orc now! Sweet.

Vote While-U-Wait!

Edit: Oh, and just to remind you, you can vote in this poll even if you have voted in the other. There won't be simultaneous polls any longer.
