Hey GiantITP, it's been a while!
Last night I was paying D&D (5e), and this was the first combat encounter our party has had since I've been playing this character. I'm a Wizard, so I do the spell stuff. Long story short, I cast Web and made a 20'*20'(*20') area sticky. (It was pretty pivotal, thank you.)
We didn't have a handy solution, so we marked as many empty spaces as we could with tiny d6's. I am certain there's a better way.
How do you mark your persistent spell effects on your game boards/maps?
(I'm considering printing out a 4"*4" square--which would represent the 20'*20' in D*D--but that's specific to just one spell. Also I have to do my best to art it up which will turn out poorly. And it'd be specific to just Web. Any less specific or more readily available options?)
