Hey everyone.
I'm trying to piece together a Concept for a Maztica Eagle Knight that has the ability to use some Plume/Hishna magic.
Eagle Knight lore involves them shapeshifting into Eagles, but I was hoping to avoid druid and instead think Eagle Totem Barbarian abilities will achieve the right flavor.
Where I'm stuck is whether I should go Oath of Vengeance or Ancients. Both have the right flavor for backstory, but I'm wondering which would better accent the fighting style of a Sword and Board warrior using Unarmed defense?
Also stuck on which class Is most beneficial to take first? I planned Barbarian for the unarmed defense, but am now unsure of which would provide the better abilities.
And any information on when I should start taking levels of a different class would be awesome. I was thinking of leveling paladin to 5 or 8? Both seem to be milestone levels for the oaths. But again, I'm unsure.
