Well I through to a parody joke who probably does not works by RAW but who is unfunny
It is the infinite negative item cost abuser.
first step get to level 7 with 6 levels of artificier and one level of telepath then get a scroll of mind seed(typical stuff people manage to do) and you mind seed someone he becomes level -1 artificier(it is not written anywhere that the 8 levels less than you can not put it in the negatives nor that having a level who is negative is forbidden)
Now he is unconscious but you can just use a false life effect for making him conscious now he have a CL of -1 and he can create items simulating spells who needs a cl of 1 so he decide to create a staff of infinite level 0 light spell and he make it by taking the at will effect then turning it into a 50 charges effect then adding another at will effect and restarting it costs - infinite since -1*1*2000*0.5* an infinite number of time=-infinite so it takes 8 hours because of the minimal time clause and it suddenly create an infinite black hole of gold but the artificier wins an infinite number of levels and so he suddenly create an epic spell with a so low dd it sends it infinitely in the past and create an infinite amount of gold and Xp then he instantly teleports away with a DD0 epic spell of instant teleportation with an huge backslash and with its infinite level he probably is immortal and so he can play around with its infinite power in this universe at the beginning of the time(there is no clause saying that epic spells can not take an negative time to research)
all of this is a joke.

Here you are wrong it is not negative levels it is "less levels" and so none of the rules of "negative levels" apply.
This character does not have "negative levels" he have a number of levels who is negative which is never forbidden and no rules are applied in this case.(death by negative levels occurs when you gain a number of negative levels superior to your level and here you never gained any negative level)
It is other parts who does not works also it is not supposed to work in RAW.

Even if they aren't truly negative levels, "in effect" means they work just like negative levels, and you end up with a wight.

Yes it seems it does not works in Dnd 3.5 but maybe it works with pathfinder since in pathfinder they say "8 less levels" in mind seed and that the artificier have the good abilities but then you do not have epic spells and so no way to escape the black hole conveniently nor to go to past(maybe there is a prc for that)
It is also written 8 less levels in dnd 3.0 so this trick maybe also have a chance of working in 3.0(and this time there is epic levels)
Anyway I think there must be a rule who prevents you from beginning to research epic spells at any time making it not useful for avoiding the black hole.
