Ok so I wanted to make a Remy inspired character using the Magus with the Staff and Card Caster archetypes.

Race: Human or Peri-Blood Aasimar

Traits:
Bladed Magic
Student of Philosophy

Flaws: Chivalrous Courtesy (You suffer a -4 penalty on attack rolls to hit a creature you can tell is of the opposite gender.)
Flaws: Short Attention Span (You suffer a -2 penalty on all skill checks made to retry an action that you previously failed. This penalty is cumulative, increasing by -2 for every failed attempt. In addition, you may not take 20 on any skill check.)

Feats:
(Flaw) Cosmopolitan
(Flaw) Distance Thrower (Or Point Blank Shot if not Human)
(Bonus) Deadly Dealer
(Bonus) Staff Master
(Human) Point Blank Shot
(1st) Precise Shot
(3rd) Weapon Focus: Darts (Cards?)
(Bonus) Quick Draw
(5th) Weapon Focus: Quarterstaff
(7th) Harrowed

Any advise?

Looks really good, honestly(plus it is a totally awesome concept). Might want weapon specialization for your quarterstaff at ninth level. For magus arcana, familiar is always good, flamboyant arcana would fit the Gambit theme as would arcane deed. Ghost blade adds brillant energy to your cards for more explosion like power, and disruptive fits Gambit's general fighting style.

Fighter Training does not kick in till tenth level though so I have to wait till 11 for Weapon Spec. I have thought of the Arcane Deed and Flamboyant and all that since I think Precise Strike can be worked with thrown weapons.

Is Ghost Blade an Arcana? - Never mind see it now. Looks cool but Card Caster adds Brilliant Energy to the list.
Arcane Pool Focus (Su)
A card caster's arcane pool can be used to augment only ranged weapons. At 5th level, a card caster can use his arcane pool to add the following weapon special abilities to ranged weapons: brilliant energy, distance, flaming, flaming burst, frost, icy burst, returning, seeking, shock, shocking burst, and speed. He can use his arcane pool to augment an entire harrow deck as if it were ammunition. All cards from a deck enhanced with a special ability, such as flaming, must share the same bonus. This ability modifies arcane pool.

Precise strike does work with thrown weapons, "...can even use this ability with thrown light or one-handed piercing melee weapons, so long as the target is within 30 feet..." Swashbuckler initiative is also a good choice since you are taking quick draw anyways.

With quarterstaff master, you can take weapon specialization(quarterstaff) without any ranks in fighter.

Yeah, if card caster gives you brilliant energy you can live without ghost touch. Settle for half damage against the rare incorporeal monster you fight.

What's the source material for the Remy you're trying to build?

I didn't know that about the Quarterstaff Master part, cool to know. I might switch Harrowed for it then. Harrowed gives nice benefits but its random chance.

You may want to spoiler the large images.

You don't have to switch anything, you're already going Staff Magus are you not? They get QM for free. (And they need it to use spell combat.)

I meant for weapon spec not quarterstaff master.

And sorry for the big pic.

You should probably either focus on ranged weapons (using the staff as a backup) or focus on the staff (using ranged stuff as a backup), but not invest feats in both.

Bladed Magic doesn't strike me as a good trait. Ghost Blade is not really worth it.

Note that even for a card caster, cards aren't the best weapon. Then again, if you're Remy there's no other option :)

I will keep an eye on the guide ^.^

And I was thinking that too. Using the Cards and having the staff be back up.

If I am not mistaken someone said there was a way at higher levels to spell-strike with the cards so delivering a Fireball via a dart sounds very thematic for Remy.

Sure, but spell strike requires a touch spell, which fireball isn't.

Harrowed Spellstrike (Card Casters) allows you to imbue it with not just Touch based spells but any ranged spell.
