I have the link to an old thread (specifically, the Real World Weapons and Armour Thread II; http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=gaming;action=display;num=1132964821 ), is there any way of finding out what the thread has been renamed to after the board change from a while ago?

I normally wouldn't bother, but since Grinner's found the links to Threads 1, 3, 4 and 5, 2 is the only one missing now and my OCD tendencies are starting to bug me.

It would appear that it got ate during one of the forum purges. It's a thread from waaaaaaaaay back before 2006, so this isn't that surprising. That 1, 3, 4, and 5 is available would appear to be luck more than anything else.

It would be/should be in The Roleplaying Games (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?30-Roleplaying-Games/) forum. Going back to the earliest threads, and doing a sort by thread title, Thread 2 is the only one missing it would seem.

Could try your luck at the Wayback Machine, but that's notoriously fickle when it comes to forum posts (and for good reason).

EDIT:::

Nope. Definitely gone. Did a search by thread starter for the person who started Thread 2. No sign of it. Sorry. :smallsmile:

Thank you for the attempt. :smallsmile:

I will attempt to keep my nervous tics to a minimum every time I edit that thread's opening post.
