Put a 18 in Int and you are semi smart and then take levels in barbarian. And you could make it werehuman.

Related: toadslinger. Like a gunslinger, but instead of guns, a bandolier of half-dragon toads. Just point and squeeze to discharge their 1/day breath weapon attack. You've trained them with Animal Handling of course so they climb back up your boots and into their holsters after you drop them to draw their cousin.

I'm imagining boots with little ladders on the side to make it easier for the frogs to climb. Masterwork tools ftw

It may have a base int above the minimum 3 for a PC, but since badgers have an LA of -- they still arent playable, sorry.

Why not take a dire badger, give it +1 HD, then make it half-dragon? It'll get wings that way.
