Xykon's feet?

Is it just me, or is Xykon missing feet in the 4th panel? He has them after that, but they just don't seem to be there as he rises vertically.

I thought that too, but if you look at the panels where he does have feet, he's got a significant amount of leg and foot that just appear...he'd have to basically be bending his knees completely to hide all of that under his robe.
