Spontanous Druid (Not Spirit Shaman)

My wife rejoined a game that she used to play in. Party is currently LVL 2. She's playing a Favored Soul 1/Monk 1 (going FS X/Monk 2) with VoP. However, the GM is known for weird house rules, and she wants to have a few back-up characters for when (not if) her current PC becomes too unplayable.

She'd like a Druid-ish build. However, she does not want to have to sort through the entire Druid list in order to select her spells/day. What she wants is a character who casts like a SORC off the Druid list. Due to the way SS pick their spells (and the knowledge the DM will screw with her through spirits), she does not want to play a Spirit Shaman.

Are there any other classes that would work for what she wants?

Unearthed Arcana has rules for Spontaneous Druids. Seems like a close enough fit.

Shugenja? Its spell list has some resemblance to the Druid list, no spirits involved, and it's a spontaneous caster.
