I'm looking to put another costume together in time for Dragoncon.

I need a blonde character (lighter shades of blonde generally recommended) with medium build, and hair no longer than neck length, preferably. Stubble a possibility, but beard not, given the timeframe.

Most types of pop culture welcome.

How about Boromir?

How about Boromir?

...I don't think I've ever seen an interpretation of that character I would classify as blonde, honestly, and the lightest I've seen it looks black compared to mine.

Appreciate the suggestion though.

How about Sanji from One Piece?

Peter Davidson's Doctor Who.

Captain America.

Schroeder from Peanuts.

Moist von Lipwig from Discworld.

Alistair from Dragon Age.

How about Sanji from One Piece?

Not really a fan (don't hit! :smalleek:)

Peter Davidson's Doctor Who.

In my closet.

Captain America.

Hmm...do I want to carry a sheild everywhere...

Schroeder from Peanuts.

Same question but with a tiny piano...

Moist von Lipwig from Discworld.

Heh. Now that is tempting. Where to find a gold suit...

Alistair from Dragon Age.

I honestly only played a few minutes of those games... my current comp wasn't...strong...enough.

Same question but with a tiny piano...

Bonus points if you can play the Peanuts theme on it.

Alas, I cannot play the piano.

Ok, so far I'm mulling:
Moist,
Cap,
and Schroeder

Anyone have any other ideas? Or know a good place to get a tiny piano?

If you like

Link from Zelda

I do like that character/set of characters. Not sure I have the legs for it though. :smallwink:

Shizuo Heiwajima from Durarara!!
Hmm...no. Not a bad idea, but no. Not seen enough episodes.

Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay Night
No time to make such armor. Civilian outfit is kinda tempting. Striped jacket aside, I basically own those clothes. Not sure how much of that franchise I remember though...

Finn from Adventure Time
...I...I don't really like that show that much.

Dave Strider from Homestuck
No.

John Constantine
ooooh...I actually kinda like this idea....Need to track down a brown trenchoat...

Green Arrow
Hmm...don't think I have enough time to grow a goatee. Could go with the TV version, I suppose.

Animal Man
I...huh. I never considered that, and I've read a good chunk of those comics.

Longshot
Heh. Liefeild or regular?

Hawkeye
Archers everywhere, it seems.

Roy Batty, Blade Runner
I uh...can't really pull o ff the skinjob's look.

Tate Langdon, American Horror Story
Not a fan. What season was he from, anyway?

Howl, Howl's Moving Castle
I've spent an inordinate amount of time with that haircut, I admit...lot of work though...hrm...

Kisuke Urahara, Bleach
Not really into the show, not gonna lie.

Vash, Trigun
Hmm....lot of red leather...still, it's been a while since I put that much spray in my hair...

Isaac Dian, Baccano
He's more of a brunette. Though I think I have half the elements for that costume already...

Locke Cole, Final Fantasy 6
Wow his costume has been re-interpreted a lot.

... I can actually go on for quite a while with this.

Oh, I like you.

I actually forgot Green Arrow had a Van Dyke. His whole image has been consumed by Stephen Amnell.

As for Longshot, whichever you like I guess. I don't think any of Longshot's costume designs are too unreasonable from a cosplay perspective. Black jacket and pants, starburst pattern on the right breast, a belt possibly with X written on it, knife bandolier and assorted pouches are an option.
