It has not been the best trip to the campus. It's been rainy, the carriage is leaking, the countryside looks dull and grey, and your carriage mates will not shut up about the most incessant crap.

The worst part is, you can hear the dinner festivities going on, but you're still a good ten minutes away.

“Boccob, dammit. I'm hungry.” He whines.

How do you react?


Augustus

It has been a terrible trip to the campus. The rains made it pretty much impossible to sitdown anywhere in the leaky box the school calls a carriage, and what's worst, about a mile to the school, the carriage busts a wheel.

“Ah. By the gods!” The driver calls out as the entire carriage rocks and you get greeted with a new splash of water.

“Cmon everyone out!” He calls out in a tense voice.


Kyle

It has been a wonderful trip to the campus. You completed it sometime this morning when the sun was bright in the early morning sky. Your carriage companions were polite and agreeable, and you even got to take a quick tour of the campus before dinner.

“So. What do you think you'll be having?” One of your carriagemates a female dwarf named Terra if you remember correctly asks you.

It has not been the best trip to the campus. It's been slow the animals have been irritable all day, and your carriagemates have been a bit dull. Not terribly so, but it was warm, and you're pretty sure you felt yourself nodding off.

The worst part may be you're a bit late, dinner is already being discussed as you burst into the room your carriagemates right behind you.

“By Pelor, lady, I didn't know elves could move that fast.” The human girl replies in astonishment.

Your trip has been average. It was annoying with bugs constantly buzzing around you, but it's a new sensation so maybe you didn't mind.

You draw a few awkward glances from your carriagemates, clearly they have no idea how to react to what you are.

As the carriage pulls in just in time for dinner, you disembark. Once outside of the carriage, one of the women in the carriage extends a hand to you.

“Lily.” She says gesturing to herself. “Why are you purple, did you botch a transmutation?”


Red

Your trip has been average. It was annoying with bugs constantly buzzing around you, but the cute purple girl next to you, seemed to attract most of the bugs.

The two girls on the opposite side of you keep giving awkward glances to the purple girl next to you, they seem to not be sure what to say.

As the carriage pulls in to the school, the ladies disembark first of course, because you are a gentlemen. Also it's 3 to 1.

So you are still in the carriage, when you hear the human girl ask the purple girl.

“Lily, Why are you purple, did you botch a transmutation?”

Bit rude to ask that, don't you think? Red asks casually.

"Sorry..... What are your names." She asks rubbing the back of her head awkwardly.

On this carriage ride Zahi has been sitting near one of the windows and was just looking out as the day went on. He did his best to ignore the majority of the talk the other students had and the wining that they made. He's seen worse places than this, and he's not even really supposed to be in enjoying this anyway, so this did not spoil his mood to much compared to how it seemed to the others.

He looked over to the one that made the newest complaint with his head still in his hand from looking out the window. He wanted to just say something that would insult him, to stop there complaining, but he was better than that. He said to the student:

"Ah, yes, it is a tragedy that we cannot join in the festivities yet. Though with this rain I doubt that it'd be any fun and that we should be able to eat soon anyways."

He raised his head to look at the one that spoke, a smile coming onto his face:

"I should not keep to myself to much, let me introduce myself if a little late. I am Zahi, who might you be?"

He already knew the man's name from the other students talk inside the carriage but he wanted them to have a more friendly feel about him. He does not need a bad reputation right off the bat.

The ugly pudgy male "I'm Derek. Soon to be valedictorian." He replies with a nod.

"I'm pretty sure the opening dinner is always held indoors." Derek replies pulling out a brochure.

Zahi's smile becomes a lot more genuine when he hears this coming from Derek. He almost laughed at him, though Zahi has learned through a few punches to the gut that people don't liked to be laughed at. Zahi makes a mental note to gain a brochure as soon as possible once he got into the main building (that is if does not already have one). He says to Derek:
"Well then at least we can enter once everything has riled up. It's always a slow pick up on getting to the good part in these kind of things. We might even be able to skip those introduction speeches if we are lucky enough."

Zahi's smile becomes a lot more genuine when he hears this coming from Derek. He almost laughed at him, though Zahi has learned through a few punches to the gut that people don't liked to be laughed at. Zahi makes a mental note to gain a brochure as soon as possible once he got into the main building (that is if does not already have one). He says to Derek:

The dining hall must have 1000 students in it. Most of them looking as young as you do with only a few really old students. On the far side, on a raised platform must be the faculty box, which is occupied, but what you can only assume are your teachers.

Besides the run down benches, Ariell is one of the few new students not awed by the extravagance of the utensils and meals offered by the school.

Turning to the girl, who now has her hand extended for a hand-shake.

"Tana. Shall we find seats?" She says to you, and your other two carriage mates

"Sorry, Lily's my name." The girl who was talking pipes up. "This is my friend Tabitha." She says gesturing to the elven woman besides her, who takes your hand and pecks it with a kiss.

"Oh, everything. I'm a generalist," Ariell informs Tana, looking around the room to get a better look at what is laid out on the tables and set about the area, as well as the people who inhabit the space.

As Ariell looks around the room, she finds the finest delicacies of every nation in the world on some of the plates already.

In fact some of the plates even have delicacies that Ariell only got on her birthday. Fish from the elemental plane of water, Avians from the plane of air, Succubus hearts.

As Ariell is probably deciding what to start with, Tana speaks up.

"Ah, I'm a conjurer. That's my professor up there." She states pointing to a cute looking male halfling.

I think you don't realize the point of a WIZARD school (grunt) can't tire out those brain cells before they even get to learn anything, me on the other hand can handle this no problem (I hope this is less then 400 lbs, if a few kids have more then 400 lbs of gear, I will be extremely surprised).

After the dinner, and the boring opening speeches about how special you all are, how they hope you'll all work together and the same tripe about unity and siblinghood everyone's heard before, you get your room assignments.

Although you don't know each other in-character (Unless you do, your decision.) you end up in the same room with two other boys.

The room looks nice, but definitely not as glamorous as the dining hall. The bunk beds are not draped in finery but look comfortable, the desk's plain, but well polished wood.

"So who gets the top bunks?" A human boy pipes up giving Augustus a worried look. "Name's Leon by the way."

Ariell first looks around her new room, but wastes little time before changing into something less restrictive (particularly around her positively stuffed belly). Comfortably clothed in pajamas, she proceeds to lie down and rest for the night.

The room looks nice, but definitely not as glamorous as the dining hall. The bunk beds are not draped in finery but look comfortable, the desk's plain, but well polished wood.

"So who gets the top bunks?" A human boy pipes up giving Augustus a worried look. "Name's Leon by the way."

And with that, you go to sleep, and wake up the next morning.

You hang out with your friends and roommates during breakfest as you get your schedules.

Your schedules are frigging loaded. Class after class, after class. Now you know why most wizards choose adventuring.

The first class of the day, for first years is Abjuration.


Drafel, Zahi, Augustus, Kyle, Ariell, Evana, Red.

All of the protagonists are in class, (Unless you choose to skip I guess).

The class has long benches, and tables, each capable of holding 5 students.

The room is crammed at 250 students, most of them first years, some looking older.

The abjuration teacher is a hunk. Personally he has the look of more of a sorcerer then a wizard, with his showing off a six pack, long flowing blond hair, crystal clear blue eyes, most of the girls in the class seem infatuated with him. He seems not to care.

"Hello class, I am Professor Wilhelm, and I will be your abjuration teacher for as long as you remain in this school. I look forward to teaching you the wonders of the arcane." He says with a slight bow.

"Perhaps we can start with someone telling us what abjuration magic specializes in?" He suggests

Walking back to his seat feels like a walk of shame. He hadn't considered that a dagger might be a issue, he'd just alwasy have it tuck in his Belt and no one would mind. Besides, its practicality a tool!

He sits back down by the orc. Drafel had chosen this location because he might be less judgemental to his...facial issue. Besides, this orc interested him. This orc manage to get into wizard school where he had never heard of one being before (lest not while being welcome) not that he disliked orcs, he had never actually meet one, but that he knew a few half-orcs (and was drinking buddies with 2 of them) and thought that this orc couldn't be too different from them.

"Hey, I'm Drafel " he whispered while the elf spoke, offering his hand for a friendly handshake.

After your break you come to the divination class. The class looks like more of a lodge, then a classroom. Couches and love seats are the only sitting implements here, the entire room is incredibly warm and humid. Way too many lit candles, not nearly enough windows, the walls are lined with bookcases, of clearly well used books.

You see a few older students still lounging about most of them shirtless. Upon, seeing you and your classmates enter they get up to leave.

As they file out of the room, one shirtless guy and girl stop in front of you.

“First years, right? Oh.... have fun.” The girl says menacingly, and the guy chuckles as they leave the room.

When they have left the room, you realize one thing.

As he arrives there he sees the casual apperence of the room. This makes him feel more comfortable, as it feels more like the parlors of his fathers associates and his own private study. After seeing the older peers he does began to wonder exactly what goes on in here.....

That's when the teacher comes to the front of the room. An exceptionally pretty elven woman with long raven hair stands at the front of the classroom tapping her fingernails on the desk for attention.

“Hello, class. I'm Professor Sirona.” She broadcasts to the room. “In this class, you will learn the magics of Enchantment. The power to make an enemy into your slave. This class is not for the bleeding of hearts, is that clear?” She asks the group

If she continues the conversation, I keep talking to the pretty elf.

If not, I swing by my dorm to pick up my short sword and put it into my pack.Then I'll take it out into the forest (smuggling it out in the pack if i have to) to work on my self taught swordsmanship. Its a shame the orc wouldn't teach me, but I'd rather not pester him if he doesn't want to speak to me. After a point, I consider just buying a waster (or finding a stick for using/carving one out of), as I really don't want trouble with the staff.

(Also if any one asks why Im not in the enchantment class, I say its a ethical decision)
