So my DM is running a campaign involving god killing, and as part of such our characters are intended to not only improve through the usual experience gaining avenues (combat, interaction, thumping one another on the head...), but also for us to be roleplaying and representing the domains we wish for our characters to embody or have. This is also intended to enter epic levels (we're starting at 15 and continuing until probably around 25 or 30). I intend for my character to kind of be a shadowy guardian of the planes, who shows up whenever extraplannar **** goes down, while also representing shadows and night. My issure is not being sure on where to progress after level 20. The build is:

Rogue1/Fighter1/Warblade14/Telflammar Shadowlord4

and I'm not sure where to progress from here. For any clarity, she's also a shadow-walker. Any help you guys can toss my way would be greatly appreciated thanks!!

That sounds like the perfect level to start an Epic Destiny...

wow! didn't know those were available! *drooling* Thanks! Any recommendations for a specific class to play while perhaps doing one of those (leaning towards eternal hero and mythic shadow)

Would it be possible to drop some warblade levels to do horizon walker? The 1d4 rounds d-door ability. Unless you got better way to port and full attack.

Well, assuming your DM okays it of course, I think what you were planning on already thematically fits both of those perfectly. Maybe finish off the shadowlord PRC if you go the mythic shadow route, and maybe pick up the craven feat and add some more rogue levels in there for extra sneak attack, evasion and improved evasion? Probably more warblade if you want to go the eternal hero route, plus, that's closer to actually hitting 21st level than the others...

I'm sure someone will be able to jump in with more specific suggestions.

My DM allowed flavor use of shadow hand techniques and replaced stone dragon techniques for my warblade levesl, so I've already got all 3 shadow-ports (and my god I'm loving it!) I'm also comboing that with Stormguard Warrior to be able to boost the damage potential through the roof, but I was definitely on the port and full attack line of thiknking. Sorry for not mentioning it earlier.

I was definitely caught between rogue and warblade, but honestly I'm not sure which of the destinies to go for! the Mythic shadow totally fits the strict playstyle and character build, but Eternal hero fits much better with the domain and god-like character concept.

Thanks to everyone for all the feedback!

Ooohhhh... that's awesome.

Thanks for this link.

(Curiously though, it's not in WotC's archive, just the web archive.)

No problem! It disappeared off of the archive quite some time ago, not even in the recent switch from www to archive. The article is also found in Dragon 363.
